I came across these posts tonight.. a new tactic across the Facebook anti-ss groups. They want us to contact them so they can help us apparently and it's all confidential BUT with permission they plan to publish chats with current ss members they've already had?
Who would give permission for that?
Am I just paranoid or could they very easily create a fake profile to chat with then publish that conversation? Is it proven that conversation was with an ACTUAL ss member?

From what I understand, the person who launched this campaign against SS is a parent, his child committed suicide using the methods offered on SS.

It's never about helping us. It's about allaying their guilt and making themselves feel better. Same as psychologists/psychiatrists etc. As far as I can see only two reasons to go into that field:

1. you want to make people feel better (not true. What this actually means is you make yourself feel better by trying to help others. It's for your benefit not theirs)

2. you want to control people.

People are selfish - nobody cares and 'get professional help' (which is the only help these people offer) sometimes doesn't do what it says on the tin.

And I know how these people operate, they are either going to get nothing and fabricate fake testimonies with their multiple fake accounts, or someone is going to reach out to them expecting help and they'll manipulate them into doing or saying something that makes this page look bad.
