Honestly if anyone is thinking of using SN I can recommend it. I've tried other ways but nothing as painless and easy to get hold of as this. A slight headache is all I had. No struggling for breath even though my oxygen levels took a massive dip. I'd recommend a few painkillers before the attempt, just what you would take for a headache normally. You do go blue though so don't go out of your house and don't get found as it is obvious the moment you get seen that something is going on. Best of luck to you all. Mine is in the capsules and I'm about to swallow them down

Makes me wonder if capsules are a better idea in a lot of cases; if you don't have a horrible taste in your mouth that you know is toxic psychologically, maybe there's less chance you'll throw it up.

It seems it will increase the time it takes for the SN to absorb slightly though depending on what you put the SN in

It might be worth giving your stomach a day or two to regain its lining if you can afford to delay things. Or at least getting a Gatorade and some OTC antiemetics if you can. I hope you're feeling as okay as possible

Yeah I might give it a week. Supposed to be seeing family next week and get back on Friday so that'll be my date

If you're feeling up to it, maybe have a look in a mirror now, and check if your lips or gums are blue? Take it easy and be kind to yourself

are you sure your stomach is empty now? If you can it might be worth while throwing up again just to make sure, that will get rid of any that didn't come up the first time, since any that are left are probably only enough to make you feel shit rather than being toxic.

well a cup of tea and a cigarette will help - well, it might not physically but it's good for the soul.

He went quiet and hasn't been back on the forum for 30 mins, so something has happened. I'm hoping it's because he took his tea outside for a cig and is enjoying the sunshine but the risk assessment part of me says something's going on that's possibly not good. All we can do now is wait until he checks in again.

I know it's not the exact same thing, but once I had lost around 2 litres of blood from self harm and stayed home for about a week before going to hospital for a transfusion... Although the causes are different (mine was not having enough blood, yours is that your blood isn't carrying enough oxygen) the feelings are going to be very similar because the end result is the same - the body isn't getting enough oxygen to the tissue. Have as much sleep as you can, load up on electrolytes or try to have some light soup and basic carbs. No exerting yourself until the blue tinge is gone

I'm glad, I had visions of you having to stumble outside for help and ending up in A&E with all the post treatment aggravation that goes with it.

Similar thing happened to me a few years ago.... I was "found" and taken to the emergency room. I hope you have good insurance coverage. I remember my bill for hospital and psy. hospital was HUGE!
