I had initially been attempting to outlive a geriatric pet. His condition has stabilized, and I don't know that I have it in me to hold on much longer.

I am concerned about his going without certain medications before I am discovered, so want to make sure that I am found relatively quickly, but (obviously) not interrupted before death. I will be using amitriptyline, so timing is critical here.

I've heard that some of the delayed email services will potentially flag messages relating to suicide, and am concerned about the possibility of unwanted intervention, or something not being sent. Realistically, my employer would probably call for a welfare check if I didn't show up, but I don't want to bank his life on that, nor do I really want them involved in any of this. Email seems like the simplest way to communicate with authorities... anyone know if there is a "safe" option available?

Maybe hotel? I think they'll be forced to check your room when your date is up, and you can just leave a note with instructions.

Idk just throwing it out there

Could you pop a letter in the post a few hours before you ctb? The should take letter at least 24hrs to arrive by which time you will be gone. ETA you could send it recorded mail so you know that someone would have to sign for it and it wouldn't get lost in the void.

Wait what? What about google, does google do this? Is this really a thing? I was planning on doing this in my dorm room after maybe a 15 hour delay, my roommate wouldnt expect anything because we rarely see eachother for days on end. Im in a perfect position to not have to worry about welfare checks, unless my message actually gets flagged like you said

Ultimately, here is what you're looking for, if you seek peace of mind.
https://sanctioned-suicide.net/thre...mail-delayed-missinginaction-ctb-feats.39344/

It has 3 different options to program emails, that you can couple too, is fully encrypted and outside of scrutiny, miles ahead from Gmail + the Boomerang add-on and more secure than well know competitors

The service of planning deliveries is to be paid for but it's $8 for 1 month (by card), or $72 for 1 year instead (with Monero/Bitcoin, which appears unnecessary)

Thank you... I think this may be exactly what I'm seeking. I'm more than willing to pay to ensure that things go according to plan.

Viro seems to have the right idea here. Is there a particular reason you're using amitriptyline? I used to be prescribed that, might see about getting back on it if it sounds promising

As a test, I sent multiple "suicide messages" through both Gmail and Boomerang, and nothing happened. Just use common sense. Don't use words like "suicide" "killed myself" etc in the title and/or the body of the email. IMO It's pretty easy to notify people without using such strong words.

Gmail stores and delivers your IP to recipients. Try not to send it in advance by mistake if you're hiding at a secret spot lol

Mostly because I was able to obtain a large quantity via legal means (if legality weren't an issue, I'd be using N).

I wanted an effective method that would (hopefully) appear peaceful to whoever ends up having to find/identify me. Bonus points if I'm able to just fall "asleep" and never wake up.

aside from google, yahoo and outlook (cause i am paranoid about them). are there any other free options to programm a message delivery? or is this one reliable enough? sorry if that's a dumb question, just want to be cautious.

concerning whatsapp, there is no way to do the same on it, is there?
