Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I used butalbital. So they were intermediate acting but also mixed with apap, caffeine and codeine . I took about 50 capsules and got violently sick about 45 mins later. I lost all motor function and ability to talk. Similar to being extremely intoxicated from alcohol. I only remember bits and pieces as I kept losing consciousness. I remember gastric lavage and even that is hazy. It took multiple days to be "right" enough be able to talk without slurring. I wasn't placed in pt surprisingly. It was more of a polypharmacy overdose than barbiturates alone.
I was on the railing ready to go when a person who I had worked with in the past , must have thought that I was in a very bad place mentally, and came around, she knew I liked the area, it is a large park around the bridge and under it also, and she talked me down. I know I sound weak, but I could not jump with her standing there. I had rope burns around my neck for a long time as I had leaned off the bridge to make sure it would work.
1- slitting wrists
it is not an effective method, I know. But I was 15 and desperate. I just cut an artery, lost a lot of blood, passed out, they found me and took some stitches. Bad idea.
2- taking too many prescription drugs
I just get a tachycardia and I was admitted to the ICU for a few days
These were impulsive and unplanned attempts. So I'm here trying to learn as much as possible so as not to fail next time

Oh, I was sure you didn't take any antiemetics. But I know the recommendation is to start taking AE 36-48 hours before. Also weird that it took you so long to lose consciousness :(

I'm prescribed them anyway so I didn't just start them. But one hour before since they have an onset of 20 mins and duration of 4-6 hours. I'd hate to see how bad it would have been had I not. If I didn't have a tolerance to the medication I probably would have lost consciousness sooner. :(
1: Death by diabetes.
2: Wrist cut across. Went through 4 tendons both nerves and a bit of an artery.
3: Cut at my elbow trying to get at the place where the arteries join. Knife was too blunt.
4: Starvation. Went 10 days without eating but it was taking too long.
5: Wrist cut down the way. Si kicked in and I gave up halfway through.
I'll get it right one of these days.
I can't remember how many times I stood by the rails and thought: do it now. Or thinking about jumping when I was on a tall building.
Since there was never any action, i am not talking about an attempt.
I had these 2 serious attempts:
1. Carbon monoxide poisoning in a tent
2. partial hanging
1. Tried to drown myself in a hotel pool (felt too painful so I stopped. Didn't help that I can swim)
2. Starvation/exposure (succumbed to survival instinct extremely soon)
3. Charcoal burning (was stopped by the fact I had nothing to light a fire with)
4. Jumping (couldn't find anywhere high enough and my mom also just happened to call me and talk me out of it without her knowing)
5. Tried to create a heart attack by eating whole sticks of butter. (Heart did feel a little weird but ultimately I got too full before I could get far enough.)
6. Now I have SN which I probably won't use for a while.
Heart attacks don't just happen like that, they take months or years of bad habits and genetics. You could have eaten 70 sticks of butter, you would just vomit eventually. That definitely wouldn't end your life.

If they were actual barbiturates then the only way it wouldn't work is not taking enough. Most countries don't prescribe barbiturates anymore though. The person who posted may have meant benzodiazepines as they have overall replaced barbiturates. The only barbiturates that are prescribed in most countries anymore is for assisted suicide and that is N and it's virtually impossible to get unless you have a terminal illness or major chronic illness and are approved by one of the big companies that charge you to just place an application and if rejected you don't get it back.
OD with no research or possibility of success, ziptie around neck that may have been more of a gesture... Those are the "official" ones, resulting in hospitalizations.
Then there's the many "hope this works" or "let's just see" type attempts, I haven't kept track of the numbers of tries but those include cutting wrists (failed quite quickly,) lots of mixing various otc and prescription drugs and alcohol and hoping it may work, only to wake up with a fucked hangover and sometimes lasting issues like seizing or passing out... several tries at partial suspension and night-light with only one recent time where I think partial could've worked had I been home alone and not risking quick discovery.... ideally I can recreate those circumstances again because it's been one of the few positive things lately to keep in my back pocket.
i tried the ziptie around the neck one a few times as well, once i was able to lose the sense of touch around my left ear for about a week after so it might have worked if left on long enough, that one was already on for an hour though so itd have been a slow death
1. Starved myself until I reached 90 pounds but was institutionalized at an eating disorder ward
2. Stayed outside in the frigid cold on a winter night in an attempt to give myself hypothermia. Didn't work.
3. Jumped off of a building (my most recent attempt. I broke my back and my femur. Oddly enough the pain was bearable.)
I'm not sure if these really count, because I didn't get very far with them.
1. Tylenol - collected a bunch of pills, about 11,000 mg. Would have done it but I realized it was painful. Later I found out it was a terrible method so now the pills are just hiding in my dresser.
2. Dehydration - didn't drink water for a day. Would have lasted longer if my parents weren't suddenly acting nice and it made me feel bad, as well as having to speak (my voice was raspy)
1. Several med overdoses (without research).
2. Med overdose with alcohol. Said 'Do not take with alcohol' on the bottle. Gave me a multitude of seizures.
3. Plastic bag with sleeping pills
4. Inert gas with plastic bag.
5. Sedatives in a bathtub
6. Alcohol Vodka overdose (amount researched) with sedatives in a bathtub.
7. Partial hanging
8. Starvation/dehydration
9. A version of the night night method.
10. Strangulation with ligature
Nothing has worked. I guess it just wasn't my time to go.
got into the bath with a box cutter knife and tried to cut the radial artery in my wrist, made two cuts and missed, third time I hit a vein and thought it was the artery. I kept it running under water to stop it coagulating. after 8 mins of bleeding I fell back under the water and tried to let death take me but I just sat back up and realised it wasn't gonna work. I called an ambulance and at the hospital passed out twice and vomited twice. 2 weeks in psych ward
