My Attempt (Failed)

I'm thinking about trying tonight. I know partial hanging has a low success rate but I got it to kinda work on a belt with a heavy shelf and now I wanna see if I can go all the way or not.

My stuff in my APT isn't quite as 'tidy' / ready for ppl as I'd like. But I think I'm gonna try for it anyway. I left some notes for my parents of how to access my bank more easily when I pass so at least 2FA doesn't get in the way or something. I would've liked to sell some of my stuff and reduce some of their strain of being in the place I died but i feel like if i dont try tonight idk if i will in future. if there's a good opportunity now i should take it.

I was gonna buy a gun + F just in case it fails but tldr that would've proven to be a quite time consuming endeavour and I am not willing to wait that long before my first attempt (which could fail).

Wish me luck! We'll see if I have the nerves, lol. Hope it works b/c if not the pills I'm taking have side effects of debilitating levels of eye strain for day(s).

Edit: Well, I failed. And have pretty much determined this method is a no-go.

Well, I failed. And have pretty much determined this method is a no-go.

The belt was certainly a lot more comfortable than a rope would be and held in place surprisingly well. But regardless of where I placed it on my neck I felt like my head was going to explode. I tried standing and leaning away from the shelf. I tried laying down and putting my head down. Neither worked. I tried to ignore the exploding head feeling but couldn't past that.

I've also seen pictures of people found dead from accidental partial hanging by masturbation- they were trying to heighten their high. I was curious if that'd act as a pain reliever so I tried that for a while. Idk how people do that- that was not arousing at all lol. It serves as a distraction but the head feeling is so intense that it is really quite difficult to focus on anything else and that ruins any joy you might get out of that. I even tried doing it with less pressure to see if that'd be a slower but effective method to pass out and- no.

The muscle relaxers did seemingly nothing. I even took another of the really strong one and still- no change. Weird. Maybe the intense drowsy feeling occurs the day after taking it. But my notes from like a year ago said it was for 30 hours straight.

Edit: Oh also, the belt did prevent me from swallowing. And often cut off my breathing a notable amount to the level I would describe it closer to an air choke than breathing normally. With full body weight it would be an air choke.
