You don't have to make it too complicated. The idea is just to replace your oxygen with an inert gas. There's loads of ways to do this.

I would say this to anybody worried it won't work
There's always that chance even throwing yourself in front of a train or of a building or shooting yourself in the head isn't 100 percent and there about the best odds of working and there's still a very small chance you can survive there's not a 100 percent guaranteed method when doing this without a professional but there's methods that are almost guaranteed
Sn kills alot of people in the uk I've heard people using this method alot and it worked so it's probably the best chance at a peaceful method there is

Most of the major methods are reliable if done properly.

Put a 12 gauge shotgun into your mouth pointed at your brainstem and pull both triggers and you are definitely outa here.

Jumping off a 300 foot cliff or building onto a flat surface does it too.

Taking SN according to the procedure, including the backup dose, always seems to work as well, the failures always seem to involve deviations from the procedure.

I was vomiting whole night, my lips and fingers were completely blue, got an awful headache and the most intense stress ever. Moreover my right leg started to hurt so fucking badly. It was horrible. For me, it wasn't a painful and quick method. It doesn't work for everyone. I think I'm more depressed now. I'm not mentally handling life as well as I did before the failed attempt. The daily abusive/harassment is what caused this. I've been crying every night since the failure. I'm back where I started. I told my spouse to please not be toxic or anything today. It seemed to be a lot worse today. I'm really tired of the fucking bullshit. I'm such a fucking failure. I've failed at life and failed at death too? At this point, a gun seems to be the best bet. I'll probably fuck that up too somehow

EDIT: I forgot to add I also got my SN from PC. Maybe this particular SN isn't effective and I need to source from somewhere else?

No, I did not. I couldn't gain necessary antiemetics so I decided to try a method with 2 glasses of SN. I even prepared 3rd glass just in case. I followed the standard regime but without taking antiemetics. As it turned out that booze was the most terrible mistake which directly caused the failure of my attempt and my hours-long suffering. After a week, however, I recovered completely.

Saying there's only 2 genders is very transphobic of you. There are some people who identify as "they" and would take great offense to that, and you talk about yourself taking offense to it? Sometimes we refer to people by "they" when we aren't sure what their preferred pronouns are, rather than imply there is other genders than male and female.

Not only are you giving out inconsistent information (thereby getting a few imbeciles on this thread to doubt sn), but you are also making transphobic remarks on a forum that is full of LGBTQ people. I am sorry that not everyone can be born cis like you and live in their own little bubble.

Also for the people on this thread who are letting the OP scaremonger them out of sn, maybe do some of your own research in other threads, like the sn mega thread for instance. You might learn that sn fails if a. you are found b. you call for help c. you don't fast and/or you don't take the second cup in case you vomit. It has a high success rate, with very little if any cases of permanent injury.

Also, fyi, calling someone "they" is how we refer to someone when we don't assume their gender OR we use proper English to refer to someone in the third person. It's pretty basic from the 14th century and kinda astonishing that someone who has "intelligent" in their name didn't even know that. Doesn't make you seem very intelligent at all.

It is important to remember that no route to CTB is 100% painless or guaranteed to be successful. Reminding people that worst case scenarios exist isn't "scaremongering." OP is understandably emotional after suffering a traumatic experience.

Let's just be thankful that the "cost" of a failed SN attempt is only a traumatic experience rather than an irreversible disability. It's a shame thread has devolved into petty arguments/transphobia.

I'd really like to understand what went wrong if OP followed the steps. I may not even have an antiemetic because I'd need insurance to doctor shop for meto.

Seems very implausible to not die after taking so much and it was apparently 100% nitrite and you stuck by the regime and weren't hospitalised for hours, that's like decapitating yourself and saying you survived
