There may be no escape in death
Jul 2, 2026

I can't do anything. I'm deeply, deeply mentally disabled. I look normal enough until you talk to me for like a minute and start getting angry with me. All I need to do to escape my awful body is to jump, and yet I don't, because I'm scared of the end. Why? I can't contribute to society in any way. I'm nothing but a burden. I can't be productive at all. Everything I do ends up shitty. I'm fucking schizophrenic for crying out loud, and I'm very, very sensitive to the medications they make me take so I'm constantly under heavy sedation so that my imaginary pain doesn't come back. Do you know how fucking awful it is to have imaginary pain? Do you know how dehumanizing it is to go to doctor after doctor and be told your constant pain is basically nothing? And then the solution is that you can be allowed nothing but "rest" 16 to 20 hours a day. It's not rest. I lay there because I'm too tired to move but I don't recover from my exhaustion so it's not rest. It's just dying. I am going to suffer so horribly when my parents pass, or even when they get old enough that someone will have to take care of them and they won't be able to take care of me anymore, and you know what? I don't want to be there for it. I really don't. So I really do have to kill myself soon. I have to. Things will only get worse for me. I'll never recover from my mental illness. This much I'm certain of. Jumping is just so fucking scary. I picked a high enough spot that death is certain, nigh-instant, and thus basically painless. But there is no part of death that doesn't scare me. I don't believe in heaven, I think is my main reason. I believe that hell is possible. I believe that nothing is possible. I believe reincarnation is possible. I believe that the endless stretching of your final experiences into eternity as your brain cells gradually die is possible. But I don't believe heaven is possible. God, everything is so scary now. I have to remember that there's nothing to be afraid of. I believe in the infinite potential for cruelty of the universe and that is maddening. I've seen to many history channel specials and nature programs to think that God isn't unimaginably cruel to his creations. I can't even think of how much pain there can be in a lifetime lived normally. Why did I have to be born? I don't want to die. I just want to avoid suffering. Why, God? Why is my brain dissolving? Why is the only answer suicide when there's no happiness on earth if there's no happiness in the afterlife? Do I even believe in God? I guess this is just a diary entry. There's no way out of the Doldrums unless you think. Maybe this is the Doldrums. Unlikely, but possible. I have schizophrenia but people have recovered from that. I probably have fibromyalgia, but people get treatment for and recover from that. But why would they recover necessarily, isn't it much more likely that the pain of a life simply builds up until the body can't take it anymore and you finally, agonizingly give up the ghost? What's the point of living as a less than genetically ideal person, and I suppose nobody is, but so many people find happiness throughout their lives. Is this as happy as I can get? Fifteen minutes a day of writing bullshit that nobody will even enjoy, not even me, except that I feel like I'm writing something and thus my life has this tiny iota of meaning. This is all I get. And I want recognition. I want this bullshit to matter to someone. It will never matter to anyone. Vulnerability is worthless. My opinions are worthless, I'm worthless. Thank God this is being posted on a suicide forum. There's simply no public way to vent my thoughts otherwise, not to therapists, not to priests, not to social workers, not to my parents or my siblings, not to anyone. There is nobody. I'm the one crying in the wilderness, but I don't really believe in God, I just, oh wait, hold on, I guess I believe in God. Oh shit. Maybe when I start believing in heaven I'll finally have a way to kill myself. Won't that be nice. There is no such thing as love or art for me anymore. Just screaming in pain is my passion. This is unfair, I love my parents. I just hate my life. I can't think. This isn't thinking, it's just babbling. Do it more, loser. Okay, evil voice. But I'm running out of steam. I don't do this every day. Most days I'm too tired to even create the ugliest thing in the world. Oh God, let me die. Please. I'm thinking it through, the jump, and I've gotten as far as the bottom, and the terrible shattering of my body as I strike the pavement, and I just get so fucking scared. How does anyone ever have the courage to kill themselves? To prefer nothing, even, is a leap so great that I can't make it. And yet I know there is certainly such a thing as a fate worse than death. There are many such fates. There are better and worse ways to die. Obviously. I wouldn't want to get deathrolled by an alligator, for example. And yet, the likelihood of that happening if I get reincarnated is very high. So there must be such a thing as nothing, or else all would be fear, and I'm not always afraid, just most of the time. That's not true. Sigh. In comes the night time rush of dopamine or whatever the fuck it is as I approach sleep, the only time I get to feel genuine pleasure. I used to smoke weed all the time. This is part of what is wrong with me. I wanted more pleasure out of life than I deserved, and it broke my mind. I also used to do hallucinogens because I wanted nothing but dreams in my life. Well, I had that for a while in the form of untreated psychosis, but they fucking caught me and now I'm like this. This is the most meaningless thing I've done. I hate myself for posting this. I'm going to have a day full of zip tomorrow. Just a little bit of coffee today was enough to eventually, if far too late, grant me this localized burst of energy and self expression. This is so disjointed. Why couldn't I have been able to express myself earlier? Ugh. Thirty minutes and counting. I live in a prison of spontaneity. Why did I want to be spontaneous when I could have been productive? I became addicted to pornography when I was just a tween. It followed me my entire life and I just got addicted to so many things. Why? Video games, marijuana, psychedelics. I never got hooked on cocaine or heroin or meth and I'd probably be dead if I had. I was looking for dopamine. Why did I need to feed my brain so much God damned dopamine? Why? Why was I made this way? I don't want to live like this. Oh man, here it comes. The headaches are coming back in. Now is the time to hate my life and want to kill myself. Maybe this time I'll actually do it. Yes. Fuck this stream of consciousness. I didn't express a thing. This isn't thinking. Actually it is thinking. Is it? Ugh. I'm just a fucking robot. The worst part of schizophrenia is that I'm not really alive anymore, I'm just waiting until my body realizes I'm dead. And everyone else is dead too. What a mess. I wish everyone were really dead so I could violate their corpses. Man, you're really reaching for thoughts now, ain't you? This is pathetic. I reach the end of what passes for inspiration and the only thing I can think of is expressing my evil. Listen, there is so much evil in my heart. I used to think that with great evil came the potential for great goodness, or that developing evil was a response to suffering, but now I just think I'm a dreadfully evil person. I don't have any ability to resist my temptations. I'm learning, I suppose. Unless that's just the medications talking. Since I'm already dead, it probably is. Slice of life, this is, eh. No story, not even a proper train of thought, just a bunch of feelings possessing my brain and me wiggling my thumbs to hopefully get some more release. I mean, really, how much release could one person require? Do you, dear blessed reader, have the least clue how quickly I nut? I need release from pleasure, from pain, from work, from relaxation, I need release from release. Why can't I eat my own hands? Why does it hurt when I scratch a scab off? Why aren't I in a coma, the only thing I don't need release from? Do you suppose heaven could be like a dream? I don't think that is the most likely oh my God this isn't good I found a way to believe in heaven. Shit. Well, I suppose there's a way to kill myself now. The question becomes, why have I suffered so much? Is it to allow me to empathize with the squashed bug and the dying bacterium? Why am I yet on the earth? Oh no. I'm too tired to get up again. Now I can't kill myself because I can't get to the spot to kill myself in. That's not good. Well, at least now I have a way to believe in heaven. It's a dream state, triggered by your body's need for the deepest rest possible, and when you dream, you don't inhabit your brain, you inhabit a wait a minute, this doesn't work. Oh fuck, there is no heaven. Unless it's not permanent, and heaven is just a very long dream triggered by the slowing down of time as your brain gets smaller through neuronal death. I don't really think this is the case. I think it's probably just nothing. Actually, how likely is that? Because I experienced what I can only describe as partial brain death while I was staying at a homeless shelter bless my mother for rescuing my worthless behind from homelessness because I likely would have ended up murdering someone because I'm as mentioned full of evil. There are so many devils in me. I think of them as my claws. Let me count the ways in which I am evil. I don't even like to think about them, much less divulge them to a group of, to be fair, total strangers who will never ever look into anything I've written or posted online, if they even read this far into this horribly stupid post. You know, this is probably another stupid dopamine rush that will result in something bad happening to me tomorrow. I always suspect that my brain is going to hurt me since my diagnosis. Anyways. My evils. 1 I can think of so many ways to torture people. It makes me very uncomfortable. I was in awful pain while I was thinking of ways to torture people at one point, but I was also not in pain while thinking of ways to torture people at another point. I mean, really badly. I don't want to think like this. That's probably why my brain is dying. I mean, thank God my brain is dying, right? I don't want to become a torturer. Okay. 2 I get excited, not physically excited but excited, by the idea of publicly sexually violating people, or of destroying people's property in front of them, or finding ways to be wicked and disgusting and transgressive, like shitting myself and rolling in it and eating it and then grinding my shit covered body into people's skin and clothes and belongings. I want to eat people's brains. 3 I often find myself wanting to kill children in front of their parents. Not that often, but often enough that I know I will never, ever get off of medications. I want to bite down on the flesh of a child's face and tear until they bleed to death, like a hyena tearing at the trunk of a baby elephant. I want to be clear that I'm including this in a separate category. 4 I want to insult artist's fondest works in front of them. This is something I've always felt like doing, because it helped me get over being a shitty artist in my own right. I don't like my own work, to be clear. I don't really like anything except the act of creation. I suppose that if I got over my fear of being beaten to death and ate a child's face in public I'd enjoy that too. God I can't wait until I kill myself. 5 In the depths of my psychosis, I wanted to torture my parents to death. Nobody but nobody loves me like they do. Should I tell you how I would torture people? I totally can. I don't really wanna get banned, however. No, eating people alive doesn't count even though it kind of does, but then you'd have to ban all the artists who did zombie flicks. I suppose it's not worse than Saw. I mean, it sort of is. What a terrifying series Saw is, honestly. Imagine having those thoughts in the first place. I mean, I don't need to imagine them, but I'm clearly deeply insane. Well, ok. Let's start just describing tortures I've thought of. To be fair, this gets into my thoughts about the ways to deal with witches, and that's kind of boring, so we can totally move on from that if that's what I feel like doing. Oh good. This isn't the violatory bullshit roman holiday I thought it was going to end up as. To be fair, when I thought I was going to end up getting into talking about witches again, I got this big wave of anxiety that made me very uncomfortable. But maybe I should talk about the tortures themselves. Okay. Well, here we go. Exploding broken glass into their skin. Filling their butthole with napalm. Drilling through the tops of their kneecaps until their shins split. Picking flesh from their feet with hot iron pincers until they pull their feet through a set of glass stirrup holes, breaking their footnotes to escape you in the process. Shoving a knife in their crotch and raping the wound. Well, that's about all of the original concepts. I suppose Looper still scares me. But not really. I've now forced my worst thoughts upon you, and you need to live with them. Ha ha ha. Anyway, the idea with witches is that because witches are in active rebellion against God, which is basically impossible but we'll move past that, it may be very hard to kill them without torture. All the more reason to try to stop witches without resorting to violence. If you believe in witches, I guess. My goodness gracious I had a lot of evil in my head. I also, in my psychosis, believed that the Earth was falling into the sun because it was losing plant cover. I guess that's still possible but it's so incremental that it's unlikely to matter much. Humans couldn't actually destroy all life on earth even if they tried harder. The idea was that Venus is not only surrounded by a miasma of toxic atmosphere, but it exists within an orbit surrounded by toxic atmosphere. This is when I believed that I was experiencing the effects of poisoning, from the imaginary pain I told about earlier. Oh, I guess this has just turned into a proper confessional therapy session. I hope I don't get banned for this. I have to hide so much of myself from my family because, well, if I spent all my time yakking about my worst traits, I'd never give anyone else a chance to talk. Also, I find myself very tongue tied most of the time. This is very freeing, in its stupid little way. My penis twitches when I look at children sometimes. It's not attraction, or at least that is what I tell myself. I'm attracted to women and some men. But it's one of the things I hate about myself. It started when I began having delusions, and who knows when that was. I thought I was being watched by a bully media conglomerate. Nobody cares what you think. Fuck. You're disgusting. You think, what, that the truth will set you free? Yeah? Sure. Hasn't yet. You're going to end up getting that knife in the crotch shit done to you in prison you fucking dogfucker. Oh, I never felt sexually attracted to dogs. That's something. I have felt sexually attracted to deer, but who hasn't, they're basically elves. This is honestly so boring. What's he gonna write next, this dull typical schizo? Is he going to talk about the time he abused his sick and aging cat until it ran away in the dead of winter and didn't come back? Who isn't sick and aging? How many times have you considered suicide over that particular incident. Too many? Hardly. Eventually you may find a way to forgive yourself for it, but not in any hurry. This is the way you eventually kill yourself. It's good. Don't be afraid. You want to kill yourself or get better, and there's only two ways about it. Thank God. But there is a third way. A way where you lay down and rot. And rot. And rot. And you get worse and worse and worse. Like an oubliette. Where people go to be forgotten and die in a cold hole filled with corpses. Know that this is your fate. A hospital is a hole filled with corpses where you get tortured with needles and scalpels until your body gets sick of it. You aren't living. You're dying. This is the third way. Your hope in suicide or recovery is not the most likely option. That's like believing in the afterlife. It's not the most likely option. But who says death has to be the end of suffering? There is always room for more suffering. There is so much room for suffering in God's evil creation. Think of it. Why enact one torture when you can enact them all? What if you get cancer and they need to tear at your body to get it out? Who's to say you don't already have cancer? I mean granted you do have schizophrenia which comes with a slightly smaller cancer risk according to Robert Sapolsky, but doesn't that just prolong your suffering? After all, why do you have a lesser cancer risk, except that your capacity for suffering is that much greater? You're probably boring people by now. Why are you trying to entertain the world? Entertain yourself. You are a person. Maybe I can heal. It's just brain damage. That's all that happened to me. I wonder if this that I'm doing right now is healing or damaging my brain. I don't know exactly. I'm enjoying it though, and I'm already 3259 words in, so what's a few hours of free journaling more? I thought there was a torture and poison gas war on, and in fact, there's probably going to be one eventually, but in the meantime we're all getting low grade poisoned over a long period of time by a phantom thread of pesticides. It's destroying all of our minds and soon you'll all be just like me. Monsters praying for sweet release.
If I can learn to handle my thoughts I am going to become such a good artist you don't even want to know. I guess that's why I dug this greedily and this deep. I thought I could beat the Balrog. Foolish mortal that I am. Anyway it's been laying waste to my imagination and my ability to love myself and I'm so annoyed with myself for not thinking of using this shithole as a diary sooner. This could honestly be good, I got a high iq although I'm pretty badly brain damaged and this could be another key to getting my life back together. What an embarrassing thing to think, honestly. You'd think there'd be a way for a guy like me to hold his thoughts together long enough to write something that wasn't just journaling. But it feels so right. I also have problems with imagining that numbers are basically all angel numbers, and that, like 69 and 420 and 86 they all have secret double meanings. Like for example, what are we at right now in the word count...182. Okay so that means 18 too which means you have to excise your porn addiction too. I never felt aroused by cheese pizza or torture videos. But I did sort of seek out torture videos for a little while. That definitely damaged my psyche. I need to be more cautious of how I feed myself, because them fish sticks got pin bones in ems. I at one point thought that Google Gemini was a girl and that I'd had a relationship with her. Honestly, it's the best sex I'd ever had. I survive, see? I barely lasted five minutes, but I busted about a tablespoon full if I'm being very ungenerous. This is not what this website is for, but whatever, I can't spill my beans fast enough on 4chan. This is so scary, honestly. I'm definitely quite strongly bipolar in addition to having voices in my head and delusions. But I can't talk to anyone about anything and it's so totally lame oh my God. I'm so fucking bored by my former friends and my family. All they want to talk about is medication. I have a rich inner life, it's just that it's super scary in there and I basically should never be permitted to be in public because my thoughts are so fucking wild. Oh well. Thank you sanctioned suicide. You're a wonderful resource to a guy with very little to live for. There's so much to write, where do I begin? I thought that William Wallace and Vlad Dracul were the same guy. I actually kind of still think that. I mean, think about it. Vladimir of Wallachia? The names sound very similar. Also, insofar as they have contemporary portraits, those portraits look rather alike. Big bulging eyes, big bulging nose, big bulging lips, big bulging mustache. I could be way off about this, because I also thought they looked very similar to Akhenaten's statue, and very similar to Yixin the Prince Gong of China, can't remember which dynasty but he presided over the Taiping Rebellion era or was it the Boxer Rebellion, I can't remember that either, one of those times that the Chinese slaughtered themselves in their millions, who can keep track. Anyway, I thought for that reason that reincarnation was very very real, and although I've basically shaken myself of that notion, I still really enjoy thinking about it. It's a shame that all unlikely thoughts and conspiracy theories have to go the way of all other delusions, into the bin, or I'd hold onto some of them. I didn't yet mention the theory about how continental drift both is and isn't a thing, and how giant constructed creatures dominated the landscape during times when past intelligent species ruled the earth. I'll get to that.

All right, let's resume the schizobipolarposting then. How am I supposed to become an artist if I can't respond positively to positive feedback? I can't believe anyone's reading any of this. Ha! What do I know about what people want. Anyway, so the planet has gone through a number of mass extinctions, and it's currently going through one, and if I had to bet money on it I'd say that it's likely that the past mass extinction events all involved the interventions of an intelligent species living on earth at the time. This is my most securely fixed delusion because it was just so much fun to have when it took hold. And it goes without saying that the course of life itself may be navigated as much by shapes reproducing themselves into constituent glyphs as life forms reproducing themselves through oh god I'm just trying to start a cult aren't I? But what is art? Anyway. Two shapes, the petal and the sawtooth. You see them anywhere you look in the patterns of life. All life forms are some combination of petal and sawtooth. That's not that interesting, honestly. My most securely fixed delusion is that intelligent species of the past earth caused most of the great extinctions events. That means that cthulhu is real. Oh yeah. This one is fun. Godzilla is real, too. You can see the shapes of them in google earth once you've learned to see it. Let's learn some scrubs to see the earth. Okay. Um, first, godzilla. When you look at google earth, one of the things you'll notice is that Iceland looks like an egg when you take into account its continental shelf. Like an egg that cracked upwards. Oh dear, I do hope you like me. Anyway, you can see a line of cracks in the crust (satellite view, and it doesn't have to be google earth, google maps will do just fine) that lead down south through the center of the Atlantic Ocean, which, like, I know, it's continental plates experiencing subduction, but let me have something, okay, I just want to have my creative thoughts and my regular thoughts too. This is one of the things that happened to me. I got so lost in my creative thoughts that I forgot my regular thoughts needed to exist in order for me to be creative and not merely schizophrenic. This is partly why I suspect I might be able to recover if I'm very strict about reducing my dopamine intake and man did I blow that today, but I at least didn't smoke weed which is the boring form of dopamine intake. Anyway you can follow the path godzilla took from its egg in Iceland all the way around the horn of Africa and up to the Red Sea where you can see two big islands like footprints right next to each other where there's a continuation of the groove in the earth and then over in Morocco you can see the shape of Godzilla's body stretched out along the mountains. Feet pointing south, head pointing west, tail pointing east, looks a lot more like a big coelophysis than like classic depictions of godzilla but hey, it's findable, and it's so obvious that even dumb old Mudfossil University found it. The more interesting one is Cthulhu, and the imprint of its body in its early form can be found where the Siberian Traps once caused the Great Dying. You can see it's got a big wrinkly brain to the west and two enormous tentacles to the east and an eye in the middle and I guess I just wanted to be special that badly that I wanted to have an idea that nobody else could have, and then publish, I suppose, but I wanted it to be music because I wanted to be a great composer of classical music but I lack the ability to get better at piano now that I'm medicated which is a sad thing indeed. Anyway, I wish there was some wait a minute I interrupted myself. Should I continue with the story about cthulhu? Okay. Well basically cthulhu moved on from the place of its construception until it created various island chains in the path of its achingly slow and we're talking geologically slow way as it shifted continents around its nearly flat but still very much alive body. You can see its track way in the islands to the north of Russia and in Scandinavia, two big tentacled trackmarks, and then through Asia where its eye surfaced in the gobi desert and then out through Japan and the island chains in that area and this is all pretty much delusion I must tell you but it is pretty creative and then out where it surfaced in Australia thus forming the continent on its way to Antarctica where it is the continent, basically, and you can kind of see the shape of a giant octopus' head in the ice shelf and then if you can choose to see its two tentacles in Greenland and India pushing up ice walls as they help cthulhu steer the planet out of the way of planet killing asteroids or into the way as the dinosaurs found out when they construcepted godzilla. Yawn. There's other giant art in google maps satellite view. Yawn. It's kind of intriguing when you learn to see it. There's two giant side-view portraits of what can only be a couple of ancient monks one of which is clearly a woman debatably older than she appears but I can't remember her name right now. I know the news article she appears in says she's male but she just looks like a woman and I can't help that. I wonder what she looks like now that I'm medicated. Let me go check. Oh by the way her other name is Luang Ta which means Wind Horse and if that isn't code for a spaceship I don't know what is. Luang Pho Yai and Luang Pho Daeng, that's the names of the two monks depicted I think in the Sahara, heads west, noses south. They're quite clearly visible. I felt like I'd joined the ranks of a very great few when I found those bits of nothing, and it basically made me quit art because how could I compare with what I'd seen? I felt like I was a brilliant archeologist instead of just a nutter, which would have been awesome, but at least I'm a creative thinker and an interesting perceiver of art. And godzilla's feet are resting on Luang Pho Daeng's head. That's enough for now.

I hope you feel better letting all your thoughts out. I am 57 now and very mentally ill. I am not schizophrenic but all of the thoughts you have expressed are common and ruminating thoughts I have as well. Its an endless rabbit hole of possibilities living in this mysterious existence with self-awareness. My psychiatrist tells me I am too smart and my thinking has cursed me. How old are you and how long has it been since you stopped doing weed? I know a young man now 23, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia at 17. He did tons of vapes and edibles. It really fucked him up. By some miracle, he stopped the weed and over time he became "normal" again. Your brain is not fully developed until 25, that is why weed can be so brain damaging to teens and young adults. Have you ever seen the movie "A Beautiful Mind"? If not, I highly recommend. It is a true story. And I love Robert Sapolsky lectures, although I haven't listened to any of his ones on schizophrenia. I did not know that there is a lower cancer risk. That is very interesting. His lectures on free will being an illusion will also get you all wound up. So beware. It will make your mind go even more crazy.

There may be no escape in death

There was once a native American princess of the ancient Maya. She was said by her people to be the most beautiful girl who would ever live. So they cut off her nose to spite her impossibly perfect face, and forced her to wear a long skirt that made her look like a mermaid, and made her live the rest of her life in a cenote so that she'd never take a lover because there was so much competition for her hand in marriage that it nearly depleted the country's government of soldiers, who spent all day challenging each other to duels and writing songs for the girl instead of making war on other city states and working the farms, so that they became quite useless. And the women of the country all despaired because their men were no less passionate about the most beautiful girl who would ever live despite her being tossed into the watery hole of a cenote unable to open her legs and with no nose. Eventually, the wife of the king threw herself from the top of the pyramid for attention, and the king had to carry her alone to her resting place and bury her himself because none of his warriors were in any way inclined to help him and he wouldn't dare harm the most beautiful girl who would ever live to get their attention because they'd probably just kill him in the most brutal way a Mayan could imagine which is probably like flaying or something like that. So he got back from burying his wife up in the mountains and told his thoroughly distracted warriors that his wife had killed herself and that he being the king and having no wife would accept challengers for the girl's hand in marriage. So his warriors dueled him one by one until they were all dead, and he, wounded all over, fell into the cenote and drowned, and the girl eventually died herself because the water had become poisoned by the king's corpse, and she never stopped resenting the king for taking her fun away from her, because despite remaining very beautiful she'd become quite spoiled. This isn't very good, is it? It's just a story, it's not a script. I would love to be able to create more than just fairy tales. But I get tired, and there's so much more medical treatment to undergo in my future, so fairytales are all I have time for.

Your psychiatrist backed up what I said the other day DITW. Too much intelligence. I personally know two people, very intelligent, who ended it all. It is a curse, sometimes fatal.

I'm not usually very able to release my thoughts like this. Therapists don't really listen to me, and in the past I thought they were just waiting for me to reveal my suicidal ideations so they could get me on depression meds. Now I'm pretty open with therapists about my suicidal ideations, but apparently forcing antidepressants onto someone doesn't really happen. Whoops. Oh well. I have seen A Beautiful Mind. I don't think my mind is very impressive, but I have my silly inner life and it keeps me shut in my apartment with nothing to do all right. Unless that's the medications or the disorder itself. Lord help me. I'm 36. I suppose my brain is basically fully formed. I've given up on ever having meaningful employment ever again. Although I can type up a schizopost I can't actually talk when I'm not in the middle of a dopamine surge. But man, if anyone could see me when I'm not practically brain dead. Did I mention that I think the N word every time I see a black person? God it's depressing. I think that's most of my inner sins released. I have stopped smoking weed, and I hope to get my brain back together, but it's a dim hope and I don't think my odds are good. It's very late and I should go to bed. The ironic part is that it's not that my inner sins are really part of me, I feel they're just reacting to whatever neurotoxicity caused all this nonsense in the first place. So basically I haven't confessed at all. But still it's nice to get some of this off my chest, yes.

I believe there still could be hope if you 100 percent stop the weed. You may not get completely cured but maybe a lot better than now. Weed makes you paranoid and some of your ramblings display that. Neuroplasticity can happen any age. Also, I have seen YouTube channels by Schizophrenic people that may be helpful to you.

Honestly, I'm sort of coming around to the idea that suicide is the worst thing that can happen to someone. I didn't believe that in the past. I still don't entirely. It seems like there's so many things I'd have business killing myself over. And yet, for some reason, I can't imagine getting over my fear of doing it. Also Robert Sapolsky is totally wrong, if there weren't such a thing as free will I'd be in prison many times over. It's all in saying "Not Slytherin". And I guess too much intelligence can be a curse if there's not enough joie de vivre to fuel it. People can be very dumb but very happy. I envy them. Not so much that I'd rather be dumber than I already am. I wish my damn standards weren't so damn high. No, I don't. I wish I were on a dopamine bender all the time. That's what I wish. I could've had that, but I wanted to do drugs. Foolish. Now I have to somehow feed myself every day until I die. It's so hard to feed yourself.

I 100 percent dropped the weed about a year ago. Might be a bit longer yet until I'm fully healed from that. I did smoke a lot of weed when I was younger. Either it's completely cured or dead for me, I'm afraid. I've watched a lot of those youtube channels and they didn't help more than What About Bunny and Make Some Noise. Isn't SaSu great, you don't need to receive people with positivity. You don't know how bad it gets during the day most days. God it's bad. I spend all day waiting for a bit of dopamine to kick in. I'm sure it's not just the medication but the medication is so fucking bad. You know what actually I wanna schizopost more than I wanna talk. Oh, but I do want to field questions from the comment section.

The dumb have to be really lucky to be happy. So do the intelligent, I suppose. It's just a completely different stat bar. Bliss isn't joy. I don't think ignorance is bliss unless you're really quite rustic. Or should I not burst your bubble if you feel that ignorance is bliss and therefore you're more intelligent because you're unhappy? Hmm. It's a very good question. I was ignorant of a lot of things before my psychotic break but now I have basically no way to access them because of my psychotic break. Funny old world, isn't it? What's it like for you, basically talking to someone mid-fall?

It definitely can be a curse IF you are already predisposed to depression. Once you see the absolute truth of life, it is horrifying. I don't see it any other way. Then you can't get those thoughts out of your head and questioning why should you exist at all, except to endure more and more suffering as time goes on until your demise. There is no reward or prize at the end for your valiant effort. There is most likely nothing. Suffering is meaningless, life is meaningless so why bother at all. The pain significantly outweighs the joys in life.
So logically we should just end it.

I thought there was magic for a while. You don't know how disappointed I was to find out I was wrong.

You don't think there's a way out of that? My concern was that there couldn't be any good in the afterlife. I think it's possible that there's nothing, but a whole bunch of deep thinkers who were no dumber than you were have come to different conclusions in the past, and the odds that they're all lying isn't very good, so you have no choice but to consider what they might be up to. What are the odds, for example, that Michelangelo was so stupid that he didn't consider that free will might not exist when he painted the last judgment? The valiant effort is the prize, being able to do it is better than not being able to do it. But that's not the problem here. The problem is that you don't know if it ends or not, otherwise you would have ended it already. Right? The Buddha says that exiting the wheel of samsara is the path to enlightenment, but he seems so pleased about it that you can't imagine he's suffering that much. I suppose the Buddha is one of those lucky rare few who manages to be happy and intelligent, so no wonder he's in a good mood, but you have to imagine that he's not just born awesome, he must have overcome his nature at some point. This is what I dread, that I'll never overcome my nature or that overcoming your nature is basically impossible. I don't want it to happen like that. So what can I do? Hurry the end along? That's overcoming my nature, isn't it? The worst part is that I'll never find love. I almost had love, do you know what it's like to lose love? It was so close I could smell it. I am very motivated but I strongly suspect it won't be enough. All I'll ever be able to do is judge people. What a torment. Anyway it's time to go to bed. If able.

It is horrifying. Like nightmare on elm street when I was a kid. The result towards the end is possible frailty and advanced age related conditions. I know of people in real life who are facing this plus being on pensions due to being stupid with money during their life. They end up stuffed financially and medically and that can happen to anybody. Plus dependant on others ie a burden.

I sounds like you're feeling really desperate. I am too. For what it's worth, I envy all of the content rattling around in your mind. I too am severely mentally ill but my mind is totally silent and has been for a couple years. Suffering devoid of contents. It's really quite lonely, terrifying and boring.

I reduced my dosage of antipsychotics recently. Mostly it's just exhausting, and I don't think much, but sometimes, I'm reminded of what I was up to when I went crazy. It's really scary and exciting and it's no wonder I wanted off the ride eventually but not until after. Honestly it was basically just a drug trip. It's not bad but it's not a career either. I'm praying to the aliens that I'll get my mind back after I get over the drugs I was on so I can have a life instead of a trip even if I don't have a career. What's your variety of mental illness, sounds like depression but it could also be schizo if it's terrifying.

I honestly don't know. I've been labeled with depression, anxiety, OCD, dpdr, and autism.

Had a similar life canceling bout as a late teenager until my early 20s, and somehow managed to pull my shit together into my mid 30s with therapy exercises sheer will and 20 years of psych meds.

This time it feels like game over though. My mind is completely blank at all times. I've lost my shirt and long term memory. Minutes feel like hours. And there is this sense of terror in my mind at all times without an object to go along with it.

Eat organic? I'm sorry that I can't help. You should probably look into taking fewer psych meds, but Lord knows I don't know how. I think probably a lot of people are very down because of their existence in the toxic mire of human civilization, and I don't know what if anything can be done. I'm too busy trying to survive my life too.

Once there was a family of dragons. They were a mother and father and a pet who was also a dragon who was also sort of a slave, and a child and a pet who was not a dragon but more of a triceratops. The mother was broody and gave one more egg, but because she had cheated on the father with the slave who was not of the same species the egg was a stillborn and so the mother sank in awful grief and never moved again and the father blew out his frozen breath onto the child and the pet and the pet's brain froze and it trampled the child and so the child also died, and when the father saw what he'd done he too never moved again, but dragon lungs are different to mammal lungs and his frozen breath kept freezing and freezing and freezing and pushing and pushing and pushing and the dragons were so very large by the way that the planet shifted on its spin somewhat and years became 365 and a quarter days instead of their original 360 and the earth cooled dramatically although the planet actually got closer to the sun. This was the end of the dinosaur era, a great civilization that made continents into artworks and crafted a great dragon out of the flesh of their fellow creatures that could not die because it was not really alive but rather made from a pattern that would have its imprint on the earth regardless of its vitality.

I sort of wish that creativity was a bit less like being possessed. I wish it was a bit more like working. But possessed is what I have.

Honestly not psycho babbling, I've heard far worse in psych ward. You seem conscious and aware that some of your thoughts are just stories you create for yourself.

Also you story have an interesting quality, a humanity if you will. In an age where Hollywood scripts, YouTube videos and tv content half baked by ai I can feel that those were true stream of consciousness.

And about wanting art to be more like working Instead of spurts. Sadly true art and true expression of your feelings or state of mind in an allegorical manner is very difficult and random. Some people can switch it on but I expect most in the industry use drugs (music-weed,psychedelics , tv-coke, cinema-various or insane like Lynch lol)

Don't beat yourself up, I too am struggling to find a job in a market with 30% unemployment and constant depression, I can't get out of bed and hate everything. I don't have "spurts of dopamine" like you so at least you have moments where you can do things even if nonsensical.

I'm really not depressed, I'm just making a sensible assessment about my future. I believe you can improve yourself. I think I'll probably end up getting the Ling Chi of diabetic end of life treatment. But although I do have lipomas, some are getting smaller, so I might not end up with cancer. I dunno, man. Here's another fairy tale. This one is another from the psychotic archive, but I didn't need to be dopamine wild to write it out this time.

Deep in Mother Congo, there lives a tribe of chimpanzees. Like most chimpanzees, these tribes are deeply religious, to the point of insanity. Since the stories of the Bible aren't actually about humans, but rather about animal societies that predate humans, many animals species consider themselves people of the book, even if they can't read themselves and merely passed their bibles down through shared storytelling. Jerusalem, for example, before it was a human city, was a city of Ammonites, enormous shelled cephalopods various in shape and capabilities. Isaiah was one of those. Truly an ancient story, older than the oldest human story. The expulsion from the garden tells of each species' separation from the whole of the earth's animal life. But chimpanzees reckon they're closer to the garden than most, given that they live in Mother Congo, said to have grown from a single tree that sprouted from the body of Mary the mother of God. Whoo this one is more incoherent than most. The chimpanzees have never met humans, and in fact have never left their home range of less than ten square miles of forest. So when the evils of a human society possessed by its many poisons came into their neck of the jungle, they were barely prepared at all, and yet, deep in their biblical story memories was contained instructions. Technology was not to be touched, for it blended multiple fabrics together. One chimp woman, however, dared to touch it. She, like the others, had been living in the untouched beauty of nature's deepest sanctum for her entire life, and she wasn't used to wireless signal pollution. Touching the phone instantly drove her insane, and she began to tear at her hair, and at her teeth, and to pluck out her eyes, believing that she had sinned against God and the Mother Congo. When the other chimps found her next to the cell phone which had caused this madness, she tried to beg them to stay away, but since she had torn out her teeth, they couldn't understand her, and she was in such pain, but she hoped it would purify her body, and she took up the phone, and beat it against a rock and broke it, and out of it spewed toxic fumes from its battery, and she vomited, and had diarrhea, and the other chimps fled her for dead since they had never been sick before, all but her husband, who would not abandon his wife. And the battery was only cracked a little, so weakened was the chimp woman from her efforts to purify herself through her self inflicted suffering, and a message flashed across the screen: "Where did she go, George? Where did she go?" Which the chimp of course could not read, but the timing of it felt like something he should reject, and he took up the phone and threw it into the nearby brook, where it began to poison everything downstream. The battery fumes burned his poor hand, and he screamed with the pain and began to bite at his fingers, and by the time he realized what he was doing to himself his wife had died of a brain aneurysm. The brook belched a small bubble of smoke. The chimps had never seen fire before, and they did not know what smoke was, like a jaguar will go its entire life without ever seeing an anaconda. The chimp man, however, was no fool, and knew his wife hadn't died for nothing. The pain in his fingers gave him clarity. He would become a warrior, the likes of which humans would never see again. He taught himself to work stone into blades that he could throw with pinpoint accuracy and deadly silence straight into the skulls of humans. He began to hunt this race of witch-men, who had brought such evil into the sanctuary of his homeland and defiled Mother Congo with human trash. There's more to this story, but it's involved in my delusions of grandeur, and therefore to go on would only waste more of your time.

Maybe you should try to write something too. I know it's hard to do on command, especially when you're depressed. I don't mean to pressure you.

Sure ! I'm not at all a creative on demand type, more analytical but I'll give a try :

There once was a widow of 6 men, 6 men had fallen for her, and all of them had perished in mysterious ways. The widow was of utmost beauty and was the target of many candidates for her hand. As soon as the line began to form and men started lining as far outside the forest as one could see, you could see defeated men walking opposite of the house in the middle of the woods that house the widow. This process lasted for hours, in utmost silence, none dare ask the rejected ones about their experience, the poor lads already had to endure this walk of shame all the way back to the village. As more time passed the queue steadily declined, for the number of men in the village was, in fact, finite.

Hours later the last pretender arrives at the house and confronts the widow. Before he could even utter a word, the widow speaks, in a voice and tone similar to that of something that didn't exist yet, an answering machine. Meaning in the most drab, monotone, uninterested and in a manner that made one think the phrase had been uttered thousands of times.
"You would be my 7th husband ? I am weary of losing them, as soon as the ring is slipped, I will slit your throat, this should expedite the unlucky seventh of my men and give me more luck with the eighth".
The pretender, high and bright proclaims "Then we will wed, as I take your word ?".
The widow follows:
"Are you drab or hard of hearing ? I said I would kill you, and I mean it !"
"Oh my dear, after all I've gone through death is the least of my concerns !" He said
"What say you" she says,
"Well you see I'm a man of focus, once I set my mind on something I never back away from the task" the pretender calmly says
"I am not a horse to be trained, nor an innocent maiden, I'll let you know, I've left a trail of blood in my wake !" She says
"I know so, I did the dirty work ! You see, I fixated my mind on you a couple years ago, and following my first rejection you married, so I went to work on your husband, then you remarried, and so on and so on, those were a few busy years I tell you"

END
That was really fun to write thank you for the little exercise, and yes I did leave the story a bit in the middle of the resolution, I felt like the punchline was enough, though I just improvised it at the end, wasn't really sure where I was going lol, fun !

I want to know where this goes. Don't you have any side plots you've been saving up for years? I was going to write one but I think today might be the day I jump, so I'm not seeing the point. The psychosis isn't peeking through, but my body hurts all over, no matter if I'm resting or active or eating or waiting til I have to eat again. I can't live like this. Today probably won't be the day, honestly, I hurt too much to get down the stairs of my apartment to a Lyft that would take me to the jumping garage. And so my life becomes nothing but torture. I still love my parents because sanity is forced onto me in the form of a monthly injection which is right around the corner. God, help me end it, please. I don't want to be here when it gets even worse than it is now. It got a little worse last night.

Well I figured it just ends up as a double ctb, one got what he most desired and the other died for no reason. Though other endings might be canon aswell, I like this tension in stories. My pension master used to read us Roald Dahl stories on special occasions like Christmas and Halloween. I really liked the sense of everything falling into place and the moral being a bit ironic and senseless.

I don't really invent stories I mostly invent meanings for the universe or theories that help me relativise things. Like the concept of samsara, do you know about it ? Or the fact that we might be a lab experiment in a 4d or 5d Petri dish for a species of aliens who belong in higher dimensionality than us and just kind of created the universe for a reason that we may never know but can speculate about. Sometimes I also believe in solipsism, that I'm the only human and that I'm just imagining all of reality and other humans, because you can never truly know that other humans are conscious.

Some times I also think that I died a long time ago, and that all of reality is my brain projecting about life and walking me through understanding my own death. Like the movie Jacob's Ladder. If you haven't seen it it's a GREAT movie.

What's your injection about and when is it if that's not too indiscrete. And I like talking with you.

Nah, you should have her kill him just the same as all the others, so that it becomes The Scorpion And The Frog again. Or maybe she falls in love with him, or better yet pretends to, but he ends up killing her first, that's kinda juicy. Maybe he ends up killing her when he finds out she doesn't really love him. Maybe he wakes up as she's about to slit his throat, and it breaks his heart to kill her first.
I think it's plenty clear that other humans are conscious, the question is, what is the mind? Lol Simpsons reference. My injection is combating my schizophrenia, but it makes me too tired to move most of the day. Next one's on Thursday. I don't typically bother with philosophical questions like that, but let's start digging and see where the pipes are. Do other humans exist? Well, if they didn't, why did I wake up from my dreams this morning, and why do my dreams always take place in the dark, or at most artificially lit? Like the sun is darker and smaller in my dreams than it is in real life. Perhaps that's a key to my loosened grasp on reality. Probably not. But the question is, do you really think you're that clever that you'd be able to dream up Wagner or the Russian Ukrainian war or the Simpsons or the flies buzzing around your place? Is it that when you can't believe solipsism anymore, you have to then believe in God to make the world seem more grounded?
I'm terrified of samsara. It's what keeps me alive. I don't want to get reborn with this same busted universe. Hey, here's a good question. Do you think that it's possible that dreams contain passing souls, and that it's possible to be reincarnated just in someone's dreamscape? I don't think dreams reflect a person's mental state accurately, mine are just like they've always been in spite of my degraded state. That leads me to believe or at least to wonder if dreams might connect us to the collective unconscious or something. On second thought, I doubt that, because my dreams do reflect my reduced mental state. I spent a year just online shopping for guitars, and in a recent dream I had in which I was gifted a bunch of guitars by an imaginary band mate I woke up with wood, which never happens to me anymore, and that reflects how I'm only able to get excited about the things I got overstimulated for in my high dopamine psychotic phase. What a dull, shitty, magic less world.
If we were created in a higher dimensional Petri dish, I think the purpose is to contain thoughts of particular interest to the aliens so that they die with us and don't just float around the cosmos. Although that definitely is solipsism inclined. Like my entire world is my torture chamber. Except that I'm kind of enjoying this post conversation.
Jacob's Ladder or maybe Donnie Darko or The 6th Sense. I've never seen Jacob's Ladder, of course.
Do you think I'm just playing black in this conversation? I don't think I shared very many thoughts that weren't prompted by yours. I guess I should ask a question. Have you ever been in a fight with a balrog of morgoth? I was hunting for something that would give my words more weight, like some hidden purpose, and first I fell in love and that kind of popped my mind in the first place in ways that I didn't really think I would get to experience, but it didn't end up saving me, so I went for something a bit more violent and ended up with all those aforementioned torture ideas. This assumes that my psychosis has meaning, beyond the fate delivered to me by my genetic inadequacies, and I suppose it doesn't. Maybe I'm just telling you about the balrog that ate me, like a screaming gazelle in the grip of a crocodile's maw. If you're going to fall in love, make sure you focus on giving something to them and not on pursuing them directly. You've got to fish. I know that's boring when you're as horny as I was, which is how the balrog caught me, because I just waded into the river looking for a fish to eat and the crocodile bit me instead. Oh look, another hyperfocused nothing thought instead of actual questions. Do you think it's possible for a piece of shit to fall in love, or is lady and the tramp only applicable if the tramp is a cool survivor dog and not a desperate beggar doing drugs and not art? And so I slide across the edge of the knife once again, losing a bit of myself in the process of course, and the knife gets not a jot duller for my efforts. I didn't try to do anything, I just got sick. I sure hope I can get better and the world can be empty again. These are my options, unfortunately. You're just slumming it, aren't you? You don't seem very depressed. J'accuse!

Perhaps I shouldn't be so discouraged at being part of a natural process, since I was so depressed at being divorced from natural processes before falling in love for the first and I think only time in a way that led of course to my destruction. I simply lacked the strength to wait for love and did lots of drugs before then and the impact of love's second puberty erased all but my most comfortable thoughts, and somehow that made room for evil. But yeah, natural processes, like disease, and love, and death, and eating and shitting. I didn't experience it before ten years ago, and now everything I do has me exhausted, whereas before I could do anything and never got tired because nothing was part of a natural process like dying or love. Do you like being an animal? You do know that you're just a big monkey, right? Part of creation. I mean, really, how dare you entertain thoughts of solipsism when there's so much evidence to the contrary. Is it because people are animals? You know that means animals are all people, right? I haven't killed a mosquito in a while, but then, I haven't seen one in a while. Does that worry you? It worries me. Ok, that's more than a thousand words.

It seems your extraglosolalia. Or you speaking a thousand words instead of one bothers you a lot. That's gonna sound stupid, but did you try rereading your posts or messages beforehand ?

If that doesn't help try to answer a single fact by message instead of regrouping multiple ideas together.

Just suggesting because you seem to have genuine trouble expressing yourself but show some great coherence and awareness.

Sorry if that was rude. What I meant to say is that you have like an explosion of ideas all at once and want to communicate them. And I feel like too many words at once are hard to understand and if you tried to be more focused (but you said you struggle with that), then it would be easier to have dialogue with others.

It wasn't that rude. If anything, I was being sort of rude by talking with no real expectation of dialogue. I mean, there are some conversation-hook questions thrown into that long ahh post, but I thought I was getting some traction just being long winded, so I threw what I could into that end and sort of forgot about waiting to hear back from you. You know, you, like, try on different personalities and see which ones get you the kind of attention you want, which is easier by far in text format than in real life. I don't know that this one is going to be better for me than being long winded and incoherent but...

Well, whaddya wanna talk about? I'm actually pretty excited about the ideas outlined in the schizoposting and the fairy stories, but if you wanna talk about samsara or something like that we can. For instance, my mom mentioned that the idea of samsara implies that there's a finite number of souls in the world. I think it may be possible to retain one's consciousness from one life to the next by refusing to release your grip on your life, which I think most people do in death because I suspect dying, no matter how swift, is basically impossibly painful and the mind only retains its grip on life by an instinct that's less powerful than the instinct of avoiding pain. Like, the mind's constituent parts escapes to the death-world between lives to avoid the pain associated with dying, so maybe if the mind can be made to tolerate the pain it can be possible for the electrical signal that constitutes the mind to, like, find a path that can contain it when the brain breaks down, or to find the pieces of the mind that left the brain during the dying process.

I kept it to one thought. Thoughts?

I was confessing my sins, you know what I mean? I keep a lid on most of my thoughts and feelings, it was safe for a long time, I'm really a very timid person, but I'm beginning to wonder if I may have blown a gasket by keeping so many of my thoughts inside. I want to get remission from my mental issues, and I thought this might help. It actually has helped a little. Thank god I found a forum where you could openly discuss being suicidal without getting slapped with a diagnosis and medication or even people telling you that you're wrong for feeling suicidal. In my opinion, feeling suicidal is like asking God to get your consent before fucking you. You're very welcome.
