The thing about goodbye threads is that we never know. Some people might recover and just say goodbye to the forum. I feel it's not a good idea to keep track of such a thing. We are pro choice, but doesn't mean we want to watch the body count rise. Most of the time, we provide the resources, but strongly try to talk people off the ledge. I want to CTB, but I cant stand the thought of someone else doing the same.

Personally I dont read goodbye threads. They're to heart breaking.

If we allow such statistics that's only going to add to the pro-lifer's catalogue of bad shit they can hold against us.

I know of only one personally that CTB, my best mate used his N late last year.
As for any others on here, we may never know the true numbers as @Antigonish said probably best we dont know the exact amount, those fortunate enough to recover and live even a mediocre life are successful but in another way.

Same here. I think everyone should have the right to do it, but reading goodbye threads doesn't give me any kind of peaceful feelings. It's still sad to witness someone else being in so much pain that they decide to ctb.

I still think about Letzte (Dani) a lot... I miss reading his posts, he always replied if you tagged him, and was never too busy to explain if you didn't understand (despite him using Google Translate).

I think all past members (regardless of whether they're with us anymore or not) should be remembered like that rather than as a statistic
