failed SN - not sure why?

I'm currently going through the search "SN from IC" trying to find goodbye threads from people who ordered from IC…

If anyone finds anything please post. This is mind boggling…

Mmmhhh I read that it dissolves quite fast without much stirring.

I remember one thread specifically where someone was worried because the sn seemed clumpy and hard to dissolve at first, but then reported that it dissolved, just took a bit more stirring. That person never posted again so I assume was successful.

I've read the same thing, that it dissolves very readily and there isn't need for much stirring about. I don't think they gave you sodium nitrite....which is very discerning because a lot of people have purchased IC. I could be wrong, but there really is nothing wrong with what you did before hand. You didn't take it on a full stomach, 7 hours is plenty of time. And I don't think the melatonin affected 20 grams of SN. You took a lot of your SN, and you said it tasted bitter, that's another clue to the puzzle. I don't think you have SN, but I could be wrong.

this is so disappointing :( its been 8 years of feeling this way and i am so desperate for it to end. i dont understand how i could have received something else when other seem to have been successful :( i guess we'll see later
im not too concerned about the fact that its not yellowish or clumpy as the photos of the IC website are exactly what the product in the bag looks like
its ok to use a metal spoon to mix sn right? just trying to think of all the potential things that couldve gone wrong

Very disappointing indeed.
I'm really sorry this is turning out to be so stressful. After all we were promised a fairly "peaceful" bus ride.

It's surprising though that we see so many people ordering, but until now not many complaints of the product being "defective". I am still looking for goodbye threads.
Found one in Feb and one in March so far.

bit of confusion and weakness, stomach didnt feel great, but i was out pretty quickly so nothing major
just want to check if anyone knows, sn does take quite a while to dissolve right? i had to mix mine for a good while for it to be fully dissolved, so just want to check if thats normal

I have a very silly question and I hope you bear with me (sorry in advance, in case you've already thought of this). Do you think there's even a small chance that you didn't finish the drink in full? Water evaporates at room temperature at a rate of 3ml/hour, so you might not have even noticed any remaining SN after waking up 10-11 hours after your attempt. Comparing this method to N, I know the few people who have failed with N had not succeeded because they didn't finish the whole drink and passed out too soon. In your case, you took valium, melatonin and cannabis before taking the SN, so do you think there might have been a small chance you accidentally did not down the full drink in your state of drowsiness?

Again, sorry if this question is silly/sounds condescending. It's just that there are so few possible explanations for this.

I tasted a very little amount of SN and it was extremely salty with a lingering heat on your tongue. If it tastes absolutely bitter, then i don't think it's the right SN. Was the container sealed tight? Nitrite can convert into Nitrate if it's left to interact with open air.

The OP posted a picture of the package further up in the thread. (I assume that this picture was taken by them very recently.)

If this is the product they used, it is the same that many here have identified as the one from IC, until now thought to be legit and used in at least 4 successful CTBs in October, Feb, Mar and May.

Has anyone seen pics of blood tests with IC's product? Do we know anyone who tested it via a lab or with test strips?

A healthy amount of scepticism is good. But let's not think of everyone on here who has posted legitimately for quite some time that they are a deep faker just out to dupe everyone.

right, i totally understand, i am just going to err on the side of the 95% of people who had an opposite reaction and consider this the outlier, if everyone else wants to get all COVID about it i am find with that, i am just trying to ask us to slow down and investigate
