• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

Hey guys, just wanted to make this post as a long time observer in these forums I finally have reached the breaking point and have already taken a lethal dose, hopefully I will pass comfortably in my sleep once I pass out. Just wanted to thank everybody for sharing their stories and experiences. This is my panic cord and thank God it's there. I will see you all on the other side.

Method:

750mg tramadol
12mg of xanax xr (chewed)
1400mg of soma
10mg of olanzapine
1800mg gabapentin
8mg zofran

I hope you find the peace you want.

I am conflicted on bringing this up on a goodbye thread, and if you have researched this specific combination, feel free to disregard.

For others who may be reading this though, I worry that the desired outcome will not be achieved, because Soma ingestion of 9.45 grams was not close to lethal, Gabapentin ingestion of 90 grams caused no effects beyond nausea and mild sedation, and acute Tramadol overdose is generally not life-threatening .

Combining medications has the potential for a much more severe effect, but the case reports I read had people taking much, much higher doses (10x-40x the doses listed). So, I am leaving this just for information purposes for others who may be reading.

Regardless, I hope for you that you reach the peace you desire, and my thoughts are with you.

I had the same thoughts. But I hope OP found rest finally and I envy them if so; they got some serious balls to attempt this.

Good post. I too hope OP has found peace and serenity with whatever they decided but not very likely with stated method/combo.

I sincerely hope you are free of the trials of this world and are at peace now. If you changed your mind and got help, or if your method has failed you, please know no one here judges you and you are welcome back here as soon as you are ready. But I sincerely hope you have found your peace. 🫂🫂

I won't romanticise anything here. Your method is risky, but not guaranteed. Mixed CNS depressants can absolutely knock you out—but they also come with a real risk of failure, organ damage, and waking up in a worse state. Especially with tramadol, which lowers seizure threshold and has a history of complications in overdose scenarios.
You probably know this already, but I'm saying it bluntly for anyone else reading: just because something feels heavy enough to work doesn't mean it will. Your body still fights. Your liver still works overtime. Your brain still resists what the heart can't.

If you've already gone—then I hope it was quiet. I hope the last thing you felt was your body letting go.
If you're still here, drifting in that space between sleep and silence—then just know there's no judgement waiting for you on either side.
We were never built to stay.
Some of us are comets—brief, burning, beautiful. Not meant to orbit forever.
So whether you pass through the veil or come back changed, I'll say it like this: Rest among the stars, if that's where you're headed. You've done your time in gravity. You've earned the drift. And if you wake? That's not failure. That's just one more lap around the sun.

Goodbye, traveller.

Some of us are comets—brief, burning, beautiful. Not meant to orbit forever.

That is beautiful. Unfortunately, I happen to be a very small rock. I still burn in the atmosphere and it hurts, but not beautiful or even bright enough to be seen. Just a brief, painful existence before returning to atoms.

Hey, maybe someday some of the atoms from my body will end up in someone who achieves their dreams better than I did. Or maybe I will finally get to rest deep under the earth as the fossil of a frog.

Small rocks shape the world more than anyone gives them credit for. They blunt the wind. They steady rivers. They make up the ground the rest of us walk on.

Not every ending has to be spectacular. Some are just returns. A stone, a fossil, a handful of atoms that finally get to rest. And maybe one day, some part of you will become part of someone who makes it further. Or softer. Or simply survives longer.

But even if you don't become anything else—you still were. And that counts for something.

A frog sounds ideal.

You sit in the sun. You eat when you're hungry. A few croaks at night. No taxes. No expectations. Just mud and a life small enough to manage.

I think a lot of us here want to be frogs.
