Interesting question...
I'd agree with the sentences about getting a lot of money (winning the lottery, etc). The time machine one is good too. But probably the one that would stop me (and it's not a just a sentence), would be someone stating my chosen method wouldnt work and show me a vision? of myself when it didnt work.

And even if you get what you might want at that certain time what happens down the road could be many things that will make you unhappy all over again.

There is no escaping undesirable. There is only accepting it.


I could stop for many different reasons but none of them will change me nor the inevitable.
