Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

i like to stay up to date with this debate, today in parliament, MPs once again voted no on a bill to legalise assisted dying, this bill was literally the bare minimum, it was voting on whether people with less than 6 months left to live due to terminal illness should have the right to die, (they would have to be signed off by 2 doctors, and it must go to a panel if this bill passed)

its so frustrating to live in this country, ive seen statements from MPs saying "we shouldnt vote to pass this bill, because people might not get genuine choice, they may be coerced" and i hate this argument a lot, "you dont get genuine choice with assisted dying bill, so you must be forced to keep living!!!" its ridiculous to me, even if this passed, i would not qualify, but it just angers me to think of the countless number of people who were watching this in hopes of having a peaceful exit ahead, just to be told no

theyre shifting the focus towards better palliative care for these people, but if someone DOES NOT WANT TO KEEP LIVING due to their illness, i dont think the offer of "we can reduce your pain as much as possible" is a good deal in their eyes, its just so unfair, to me i see it as very cruel to vote against these bills

if youre against assisted dying, then just dont get it, nobody is forcing you to, even if people were to pressure you, its still your choice, i will never understand the desire to take this away from absolutely everybody just because you disagree with it
