As he is banned, would the police actually be able to see anything much even if they did sign in? Other than the standard forum view that unregistered people can see.
As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

What is SN?Dear SS community,
Unfortunately it's time for my bus. I've completed all my preparations and I'm finally ready to ctb today.
It's been a pleasant stay for me here. I've enjoyed reading and partaking in the discussions. Thank you for being a good community and place where discussing suicide isn't taboo.
For those curious as to why: It's a complicated bag of existential and personal problems. My desire to live has been non-existent for way too long. And I refuse to live for the sake of others. Furthermore I've already been through the mental healthcare system and take medications. But even that can only do so much by itself.
My method of choice is SN and I'll probably just take some ibuprofen beforehand. I'll tolerate whatever discomfort comes though I'm hoping it will knock me out before that. I've chosen to do this at a nearby forest to avoid leaving a mess for the public eye.
Anyways, good bye
If he factory reset it and skipped past the option to set a screen lock or just didn't use one it would've been left logged in when he passed out certainly. I don't know if he was also relying on the ban to log him out too. I don't understand why else he would've said that people would've seen the ss site in his browser. When I ctb all anyone will see is my lock screen. He must have been. Not sure how doing a factory reset, then logging into your account again from that same phone, would accomplish anything. Anyone picking up his phone could see where he was logged in at and also probably log in themselves.
I have no idea I would've thought a ban would log you out and not let you log back in until you filed a ticket with the mods explaining. Come to think of it I always wondered why sometimes in the active members list I see names crossed out but they are online viewing a part of the site.As he is banned, would the police actually be able to see anything much even if they did sign in? Other than the standard forum view that unregistered people can see.

How would anyone be able to access his account once he's banned? I think the only people who could do that are admin and maybe mods.Maybe someone looks at the site as a guest from his phone but the site shows him as being online. Since the cookie for the site is stored on that device.
Or maybe his ghost is still able to login.
I'm curious what happens when your banned and your still logged in but never logged out. Knowing that could possibly answer your question. How would anyone be able to access his account once he's banned? I think the only people who could do that are admin and maybe mods.
I will take the ghost option as the truthMaybe someone looks at the site as a guest from his phone but the site shows him as being online. Since the cookie for the site is stored on that device.

So most likely it was either the police or his family.I don't know if this makes a difference but his account was last logged in at 3:28pm in his time zone. Hotels check out time is noon at the latest, that's a good 3 and a half hours later. Would've been found in the first hour I believe and last logged in perhaps 2 and a half hours after that.
Thanks. I hope that's what happened. It would be worrying if he remained conscious for a while after that.Only person who could answer that with certain is him.
But i suspect that is how it went.
Regarding monitor heart beats,
Why does it have to be so scientific,
Kinda creepy, impersonal, and cringey imo
I meant another thing but it sounds otherwise.Well if you hope he is at peace then you should hope it's people who went thru his phone. Otherwise he is still alive and not at peace
You don't believe they are real?I just think that some people on here don't have users' best intentions at heart and may want to extract sympathy, love, and support via goodbye threads. I take everything with a grain of salt

I think they are. Otherwise the person would stay online to watch what people are saying and not log off then come back the next day. These seem very genuine to me. I think that either the family or police come online on their accounts.I don't know. It could be that they're not real.
Totally agree with you on this issue, it's either that or the family members or even the cops.Whatever happened, I hope you're at peace. I'm always suspicious when people log in after supposedly ctb'ing...but it's not my place to speculate. I just think that some people on here don't have users' best intentions at heart and may want to extract sympathy, love, and support via goodbye threads. I take everything with a grain of salt

It's interesting tho this site logs me out on its own when i close my phone. Maybe because I have it in private browser when I'm on this siteTotally agree with you on this issue, it's either that or the family members or even the cops.
