In many US cities like San Francisco and Seattle, there are many of such report. In SF alone, there are 1,875 people died of OD just between Jan-Feb 2022. You can Google "Fentanyl death <name of city>".

So my question: is it THAT easy to get Fentanyl / Opioid? If yes, how would they get it? It's definitely not a one time purchase because typically the OD happened after a prolonged use.

Also in SF, there are people that OPENLY use drug (thought I don't know if it's fentanyl) and cops won't even bother arresting them.

Opioids in general are ridiculously easy to source. Even if you can't get them in person, basically any darknet market will have them.

Its not hard to get them online. But with fentanyl you'll most likely find patches which are not ideal for ctb.

An OD is more likely if you have no tolerance, rather than after prolonged use - prolonged use would cause tolerance and cause the user to administer more to get the same 'hit', so that could make OD more likely - but you have a better chance of ODing via your first ever 'hit' while you have no tolerance, if you have learned how to administer it correctly

You are completely right here. I have a prescription for 10 fentanyl patches every month. I've been on them for a year so I think even if I used all of them at the same time it wouldn't kill me. I gave my friend one once as they had hurt their back and they were literally completely out of it. So it definitely depends on your tolerance.

I started on 20mg Oxy a few months ago - now I can tolerate 120mg just fine, and feel I need that much to get the same sense of euphoria

It's frustrating in our circumstances that our tolerance is so high
I have those patches and I also have 100× 30mg of codeine every month and 28× gabapentin a month but because I've been on them for so long I don't think it would be possible for me to OD on them

Only Fent patches are recommended in the book and guide that I have, especially when you combine them with Oxycodon tablets.

that's why I think I'll full-hang after taking all the Oxy, Benzos, Amatriptyline I have, in case the drugs just aren't enough
