Gorgeous sunny day today. I actually went into the back yard and out the back gate today. My brother was there chopping firewood. He has a garage full of it for the wood burning stove, collects it from the wood. I talked to one of my fellow locals about his allotment that the council are trying to evict him from.
He tidied up all the fly-tipped trash from the area and stored it, now the council are claiming it's his and he's dumped it so they can try and evict him. No good deed goes unpunished.
Still, nice to talk to someone cool. I think he's coming round tomorrow to show me some pictures. If I get the time, I'll search the local planning records and see what's on the cards for the allotments. Awful place to build. The underlying geology makes it prone to constant flooding. But the burgeoning population means there is more pressure to build on any unoccupied land.
