@YourNeighbor Dude, this thread has really inspired me.
I think I might revise my CTB plan and do a one way trek into nature (I don't know where yet), equipped with survival gear etc and keep going, then just drink SN when I'm ready. Nothing too gnarly, but enough to feel the elements. If I do it, I'll document the whole thing on here.
Like you said, there's ways of notifying friends/family by delayed email etc...
I did the 'Lost City' trek in Colombia a few years ago - 7/8 hours of trekking per day with a backpack. It was tough, but I felt so alive.
I still have a lot of gear that would come in handy now.
My only issue is I have Xanax as part of my SN 'kit'. So, I wouldn't be able to take this abroad as I'd get busted for sure. In fact, my SN would definitely be confiscated going over international lines.... Fuck.
I live in one of the most geographically boring areas of the planet. I wish I lived in the US.
