I believe you need 0.01g accuracy if you're testing your SN

is this measurement actually correct? i've stirring for quite a while but some part of the salt still hasn't dissolved (i used table salt for now)


here, the amount of salt that i measured


i didn't take a photo of the measurement of the water, but i picture this because i'm kind of confused, it said ml but it's 0.00, i ended up following the first digit because following the decimal digit is way too little, even now it's still too little (i measured 38 ml of water btw)
yeah i've been stirring for hours but it still hasn't dissolved, is it okay to heat up the water first or i just had to stir it for who knows long?

so, i drank it, i finally melt most of the salt with the help of warm water, it's kind of hard to swallow and it's really salty it kind of hurts, but it wasn't as bad as the time i drank detergent tho so i can swallow it without a problem this time. the notable thing that happened to me is that my heart beating so fast and feels like i'm about to die by just drinking this table salt water, so i idk how bad it'd be if i actually use the sn without the beta blocker and diazepam. i wonder if i can drink normal water after drink the solution

nah today's just a salt water, i'm just doing a simulation on how it'd taste. i don't have to be in a hurry because i have nothing to do for quite some times. at the very least i'd do it in about 2 days and then there'd be nothing that i like to wait anymore

What is the necessity of antiemetic for? I see it used a lot in the guide, so is sn is really that hard to swallow? Or is it hard to swallow just because it's salty? If it's just because of the saltiness then it's not a problem for me, i drank salt water with the same measurement before and it's not that bad

I depends on the specific AE. If you read the Sodium Nitrite (SN) Method by Vizzy you'll see

"Most effective antiemetic are dopamine blocking which are Metoclopramide, Domperidone and Prochlorperazine. Metoclopramide speeds gastric emptying, which limits gastric conversion and nitric oxide production."

I.e. Metoclopramide will empty your stomach of the SN faster, getting it through to the intestines.

From what I've read, a lot of people throw up with/without AEs, so make sure to have a second cup of SN.

i used domperidome, how about it? also, can i eat before i drank sn (from what i read it doesn't sounds like so)? i would like to eat my favorite food for the last time

You are supposed to be fasting, so you should have your last meal before you start the protocol. Antiemetics purpose is that you don't vomit your SN, and Meto has that other effect too, that's why it's the most popular. Still, domperidone works too.

is it just won't work if i eat one or two meal a day? i guess if i had to fast for two days full i really can't do it at ramadhan because i had to eat at morning and afternoon or else my family will get suspicious on me (it's ironic that i can't fast at fasting month).

It "can" work (you are drinking a poison after all), but you should try to follow the protocol to improve the chances of success and to reduce the symptoms. You don't have to fast for two days, tho, what you need to do is to drink it when you have an empty stomach. People usually talks about 8 hours of fasting, but each body is different. It's also better if your last meals are not heavy. In my case, for example, if I eat a lot, my stomach feels heavy and kinda full even after 8 hours.

If you can wait, yeah, you shouldn't do it during Ramadhan, if that means that you won't be able to fast.

I am planning to buy my SN from DMC mentioned other places in this forum. Is there enough trust in them so that I do not need to test the purity of my SN? I sent them a question in email and got this reply: The degree of purity declared by the manufacturer, as well as confirmed by our laboratory studies, corresponds to 99.6%". Can this be trusted without testing? Because I have read that the test strips are not always accurate, and it would be bad to test and get wrong results. If I don't need to test it, I will only buy one order of SN and not a extra one for testing.

It says that: "Proton pump inhibitors (PPI) are not useful in SN process.". However I am already going on a PPI on a daily basis for a long time. So my question is if I should stop before doing SN, and if so how many days before should I stop using PPI?

It also says this: "Pain Killer. Another simple medication to get and use. There is no reason not to use it." I have both Paracetamol and Ibuprofen, should I take both or only one of them? Also I have stronger NSAIDs, maybe I should use those instead of Ibuprofen? Also I have both Tramadol and Paralgin Forte, maybe I should use one of them instead of Paracetamol and/or Ibuprofen? If so how many Tramadol or Paralgin Forte should I take?

It also says: "Drugs such as oxazepam (20x30mg tablets)". I have oxazepam/sorbil available, and is already taking 25 mg each day in total. But it seems a lot to take 20 x 30 mg? Also when making a powder of them, I feel I should know how much faster they will affect me? Maybe it is to late to take them moment before SN, because when I take Sobril daily, it takes one to tho hours before I feel any effect. And back to the first question: How much would you recommend I take of powdered Sobril and how long before SN? Maybe it works very quick when I make a powder of the pills?

Edit: I want to add I am very afraid I am going to puke, and then need to decide to trink a second SN or not, and the extra stress puking will give me. First I though that puking was not common when taking meds like Metoklopramid, but after reading more in the fourum, it seems to me it is more likely to puke than not to puke?

How would you measure 4.1 tablespoons? I mean if you are a bit off is that important?

What's the problem if I exceed the SN dose compared to my weight? Increased risk of vomiting? And if I make a mistake with the water dose?

I don't know how precise I can get, I hope it changes little.

You can take the antiemetics anyway. Their purpose is to stop you from vomiting. The antiemetics you will be using are dopamine blockers. Dopamine is a brain thing that helps us to vomit when we need, so we block it so we don't vomit the SN. There's not really a direct relation with the stomach. Yes, some antiemetics also empty your stomach, but that's only a (helpful) side effect.

The same post you screenshot also talks about how much time you need to fast.

About your second question, I'm not sure, but SN is more unstable once dissolved. If you are talking about a couple hours, I think it should be okay. If you are talking about days or more, it's risky, I think. I would recommend you to prepare it as late as possible.

I have my SN (99%) and just received my Reglan today. I was reading about the nasty side effects of it and I am hesitant to try it before my attempt. Can anyone give me some advice if it was OK to use Reglan at the ctb attempt the first time?

I was able to buy 99% pure SN as a salmon egg curing salt. The brand name is Pro-cure bait scent. The first one I bought was easy, but I ended up breaking the container. The second time it was more difficult, the original place I bought it from canceled the order, but I was able to order it online from a another source.

I'm not sure what's the best water you can use to dissolve it, sorry.
