Does anyone know if it's okay to store at temperatures above 25°C?

Has anyone tried putting their SN in mylar bags to extend storage life for more than a year? I was leaning toward vacuum seal bags but then read that the vacuum seals on them tend to fail after a year or so. I know the stuff is a salt, and relatively harmless (heh) but it's also an oxidizer (so wondering if the metal in the mylar bags is safe) and will absorb water if left open to air, and become useless.

OK, finally decided to reorder SN, just in case mine turned nitrate. This one will remain sealed now that I know it's good quality. I'Il receive it in eight days. My time has almost come. In 40 days I will die and leave this shitty society. Really hope to find my bestfriend on the other side. In 40 days, it will do one year that he caught the bus.

I did same. I opened my first SN container to test that and then ordered another to be more sure. How ur friend did CTB?

Does SN really go bad that fast just by opening the bottle?

As long as it's kept dry, SN can be stored pretty much indefinitely. Relax.

Well, the recommendation in the safety sheets is 15-25°C. But I think one might get away with it temporarily. I had mine exposed to around 30-35° for about 10-14 days last year. But the thought bothered me too, so I did a simple blood test post summer and it still turned out very dark, almost black.

Tbh, I doubt it. When privately using it as meat preservative no one is going to use 100g or more in a single session. It's bound to get opened a couple of times over several months and still maintain it's potency. The environment/humidity it gets opened in probably has a substantial impact as well.

It's probably fine, especially if used for ordinary means, but considering the gravity of the situation, literally life and death, I'd feel more comfortable with an unopened and well stored bottle myself.

It's frequently between 25 and 30. I thought I read somewhere that it could be stored up to 30, but there seems to be conflicting information. Now I'm quite concerned.

Yeah, have seen some with <30° as well. Couldn't tell you though how those variations come about, nor how crucial they really are. Quarky once saying that SN gets transported/used in any sort of environment without cooling. So, it's probably fine, but if you have serious doubts try seeking out your manufacturer's sheet.

The safety sheets says
"Vapor pressure: < 0.0001 hPa (< 0.0001 mmHg) at 25°C"
and
"Partition coefficient: n-octanol/water: log Pow: -3.7 at 25°C"

Anyone know what that means exactly?

it has very low vapor pressure at 25 C —> it doesn't vaporize at 25 C —> it's very stable at this temperature

-3.7 partition coefficient —> for every 1 molecule of SN that exists in oil, nearly 4000 molecules will exist in water —> its very easily dissolved in water and not at all dissolvable in oil

Well I hope above 25 is okay too. It also says to keep away from heat, which has me concerned because the heater was on in the Winter, blowing hot air close to where it's being stored.

I bought propranolol from India, I'm in the EU, got seized by customs, anyone know a reliable way to get it, preferably within the EU but even outside of it is okay, I don't want to feel my heart racing before I die. Should I just try another random website?

Hey, could you please PM me the site that you ordered from? I've tried ordering it in my country (EU), but it's impossible as it's listed as a restricted chemical.

I'd just like to concur. I'm in East Africa and need some rather desperately.
I´m unable to send you a PM. I could send you addresses.
Also want these addresses. Just keeping this here in the meantime.

lab grade, food grade, AR... does it matter? Or is a 95+% purity all that matters?

I really like this method. Many people told me there is no risk of brain damage. But the availability in my country is a problem. (It is illegal.)
