Out of curiosity i watched two videos about this site and I saw few weird things which I want to discuss here:
1. The allegations that we advise against every type of professional help.
ALWAYS when there was a slight doubt about ctb on my posts someone was saying to make sure if this is surely what I want. People act like everyone here is a souless psychopath that loves making people kill themselves but they couldn't be more wrong. Most of people here are just heart broken souls that were abused/are physically, chronically ill that want to escape the reality of this world. I am sure that there are some fucked up people but you can find them everywhere on the internet.
We need to address something diffrent though - some mental health "professionals" have a mind of a 12 year old that was locked in a basement their entire life. I am not saying it's all of them, I am not even saying it's most of them, it's SOME. But the consequences of talking with them can be really fucked up because locking a bunch of mentally ill people in a psychward (most of times against their will) often does not help and sometimes makes things worse. We shouldn't blame this forum for saying the truth, we should blame the system.
2. The allegations that we are pro-suicide
Most of us are not and if I'm being honest some of us are even against it, please let me explain my way of thinking. Most of people coming to this site aren't logged in and most of those who are logged are posting rarely. MY assumption is that some people do that because they really don't want others to die, they just want to end it themselves. And before anyone says that they are hypocrites let me ask you something - why do you care? If someone goes here to simply find out how they can die but don't want to help others in doing such thing we should respect that because it's their choice. I am sure most of us aren't morally consistent so let's not hate others for being like that too.
But coming back to the people that don't mind helping others find the most successful way to leave this world, they have a reason to do that. We are all here because we absolutly hate our lifes and we know that an unsuccessful attempt would only make things worse. Going to a psychward against our will, permanent damage to our body and the people talking are things we really want to avoid. Nobody here forces you to ctb, nobody here tells you the methods if you don't ask for them. It's just a place where you can find it if you want to. And let's be for real - if someone really wants to die they would find ways how to do it on the internet. There are tons of tutorials on how to enter the darknet and after that you can really get all the info you want, no matter how disturbing it is
3. The allegations that minors are welcome on this site. Oh trust me they are not. I once tried posting something with the word minor in the title and I instatly got flagged (the post was just about a podcast I listened to where they were talking about an underage girl). Some people are acting like minors aren't able to watch porn (including cp), buy drugs/vapes/other substances they shouldn't be able to buy and even watch really disturbing gore and they can do all of this not even entering darknet. If we really want to make internet a safe space we shouldn't be focusing on only one place but on the entirety which isn't possible because Internet became such a massive place that nobody is able to control it now. I am not trying to say that if other people let minors on their sites it's okay for us too, I'm trying to say that we aren't able to control who comes here without compromising the privacy of users.
4. The last thing I want to say is coming deeply from my heart and I hope y'all understand me. The reason that forums like this exist is to make leaving this fucked up, capitalistic and deeply depressing world easier for people who already wanted to do it. It's not a forum for an average person, it's for people who are sick of this world and just want to leave it. The reasons we have are endless and the amount of pain we are in every day is exruciating. If anyone who tries to "save" us is reading this post I have a simple message for you. Before banning this site (which won't do what you want it to because another ones WILL be made very quickly) make sure to at least try making mental health care more accesible because if someone is broke they just aren't able to get help even if they wanted to.
I don't think suicide is an answer to all problems, I don't even think it is an answer to any of them but in situations where we aren't able to get better it sometimes just is the only way to find peace. Please remember to always make sure that there really aren't any ways to get better before you try to ctb.
(Btw don't mind if I spelled something incorrectly or used a word in a wrong way but English isn't my first language and when I write things as long as this I always fuck something up)
