I've maintained sobriety during a lengthy stretch of time when it was in all regards the most ideal time possible for me to do otherwise. I think this is the longest I've been completely sober for in about two decades. No drugs, not a drop of alcohol. I've quit nicotine and caffeine entirely now too. The last six months have been pitch black. Getting caught up in the stress of not doing enough, not pushing hard enough, not being where everybody else is in life in exactly the same way gets to be a thing. I did all that with this brain surrounded by desolation and with no future. So I noticed sometimes I'm too hard on myself and that has become a little mantra over the last several months.

I don't think this is just screaming. There is a purpose. Actually, this morning she started playing with her ball after walking around meowing. I think for her it means she wants to play, or have contact. Then again, she might be a bit stir crazy because it's been raining a lot and she doesn't go outside much.

Part of why I don't post in the game threads is because they give me anxiety. There's really steep expectations of its social system that exists like a metronome and visual balance and I can see all its parts functioning without me. It reminds me a lot of how I feel when I do go out with a friend or two to meet up with a larger group and then at some point it's like too much has been lost there's no point in being here anymore goodbye. The worst was when I was a kid before just totally avoiding other people, I would be hanging out with a group of friends who I knew really well and we all got along together too but one time it just started. It felt like cutting in and out of not knowing them and feeling uncomfortable.

No one ever truly knows anyone else since everyone and everything is always changing. Hope that helps, hugs

I low-key hate that I'm killing myself with pig poison alone in a hotel. I wish I could die a natural death in the company of my loved ones, say my goodbyes proper. :( I had a lot of wishes for this world that aren't going to happen though so oh welp.

I would so want this too, and have fantasised about developing a cancer that would take me quickly, but I also see a beauty too in taking this last step alone, be it with a fit in vein or my bondage rope around my neck.
