Jus realized that 90% of modern "friendships" are experienced through the mind and not in person, like on Facebook, etc. So once I'm dead, how people experience me isn't going to be all that different for them. They will still experience me in a temporal way they just won't ever hang out with me again. I'm already just a memory and one that will disappear with time.
to me it's the same IRL. When we're gone, we become just that shred of a "forgotten memory" a couple of weeks after the funeral service has took place, and that shred stays the same forever, unless something related to our death pops up and makes everybody remember for a while. Then the cycle repeats
