I start. It is a German article but I describe it. A transgender person self-immolated in Berlin. In the first articles they wrote the person will survive very likely. Though the person has died now. I am somewhat glad about that because that is what the person wanted. Moreover the damage would have been immensly. When I google it the first suggested words are trangeder person self-immolates video. The people just want to watch other people suffer. Fuck this world!

This is so sad.. imagine the amount of pain this person had to be in to set themselves on fire and die in such a terrible way. I hope this person is at peace now and no longer suffering

The article that I remember, is about a woman with an untreatable condition which was going to get worse over time. She was denied euthanasia, so instead died alone in a hotel room. The family shared her story to promote change in regards to allowing a right to die.

One of my favorite news magazines made a research about the person who self-immolated. (The trans-person who commited suicide.)
The story is extremely sad and depressing. ! read it one week ago and I try to summarize what I still know. (The article is German and behind a paywall.)
She came as refugee to Germany. She was from Iran. She left no suicide note. In Germany it is pretty difficult to be acknowledged as trans-person. There is a lot of humilation during the process. Especially it was for her. They wanted to have a picture from her as a man and called her with her dead/old male name. She was raised with a violent dad, experienced war and of course she could not reflect about her identity during the time in Iran. If someone knew she only slept with men they would have killed her. Many people mocked her for being trans. People spit her in the face for it.
I think what pushed her over the edge was noone paid for her medical surgery. But I am not sure.
When she self-immolated and someone wanted to save her she screamed fuck you. The video went viral. Many people mocked her after the death.
A staff from the hospital made a photo of her naked burned body and posted it on the internet. (What a fucking asshole. Honestly fuck him. Someone tried to sue him for that.)
It is so sad.
