Venting laughed at by a bunch of teenagers my age, for sleeping in my car.

I just dropped off a friend and did not want to go home, my family is not the best :(. So I decided to pull off into a park next to a river 15 minutes from my house, and I set an alarm for a few hours later after my family was already asleep so I could slip into the house. I wake up about an hour later to the sounds of multiple clapped out honda civics doing burnouts and racing outside my car. I really did not think it would matter so I just sat up and went on my phone. A few minutes later 2 of the cars pull up a few spots from my car and they all get out, there must have been at least 8-10 people. They are gathered around the car closest to me and sorta are slowly moving closer to my car. Eventually 2 of them are full on leaning against my car. My car has ZERO tint, and I was not hiding AT ALL, like if you just look at my car my face would be lit up by the phone lmao. So I just assumed they knew I was in my car and tbh I did not mind them leaning on it, they were not doing any harm. But eventually one of them says "I think someone is in there" and then they back away from the car and two of them point their phone flashlights into my car, then they all giggle and run away. So I open the door and say "hey, is everything ok?" and one of the girls there, who I could not see goes "OMG, Despondent_fondent" as they are getting into the car, so at least one of them knew me. but they all race away like I am some monster and I just feel bad about it. Thank you so much. Normally people making fun of me or whatever never gets to me, but today I was just really not in a good way, and I think it just set me off a little. Your words are nice, everyone I know IRL are asleep right now so I dont have anyone to talk too, so thank you.

Teenagers are little shits, can confirm because I was one, but I've never been THIS bad.

I don't know why parents don't teach their kids basic empathy but then again it's a reflection of the state of the world. They laugh now but in a few years when college and life hits they'll see, or maybe they won't and they're rich assholes.
