No one who is able to write about death has experienced it themselves, and so no answers on an afterlife are for certain. Why not have fun with it then, if there's no proving anything until I'm actually dead? My afterlife has the same chances of being the true afterlife as the Christian's Heaven or the atheist's nothingness, because none of us can say anything for certain on the matter.

When I die, I'll go to a world where everything is perfect. The day I die and forever after, I'll be a kid again, and every day will be filled with innocent wonder. The thought of an agonizing eternity would never cross my mind because that's my ideal, and because there's so much else for me to worry about as a child. Why think about any of that crap when there's a snow day tomorrow, and I have toys and my cats to play with? I will forget all the pain of this life, and every day after I die will be endlessly, ignorantly blissful. That'll be my Heaven.

What would be your perfect afterlife, your Heaven? Do you want something which is impossible to obtain in this lifetime? Or do you just wish to cease to exist? Also I'm new here, hi.

I just want to permanently cease existing, all that's beautiful for me is the thought of this existence eternally disappearing into nothingness. It's comforting to think of being unaware for all eternity, all I wish for is to not exist, if it's up to me I'd choose to erase my existence like I never existed at all, I despise existing, only non-existence is desirable.

My perfect afterlife would be one in which I could be an eternal student. I would learn everything there is to learn and be in college/academia until the end of time. I would gain as much knowledge as possible and never have to make a living or enter the real world. I would also stay young forever and not age past 25

My perfect afterlife... (By the way, I'm new here, so, hi, I'll go do some introductions later, maybe.) It would be everything I've ever wanted for an eternity. Or it would be an enlightening philosophical talk with a mediator between life and death, before I get tossed into another form of existence much better than this one. Maybe a perfect version of Earth, where no pain exists. To dream about these things makes me happy. It's both those dreams and this nightmare that drives me to want to CTB.

I'd want to somehow see beyond the nothingness. For my energy to somehow retain consciousness as it dissipates into the matter surrounding my body and I get to experience the secrets that only the nonliving materials of the universe can know. To not exactly feel, or hear, or see, any frequency but to BE that silence, and somehow also be aware of what I am.

Perfect afterlife = No afterlife. At this point I don't really care to know what was the purpose of all of this.

I know where your pain comes from, but if we meet in a peaceful heaven where there is no pain and ego and only love, I will be very happy to see you happy! <3

Thank you Saturn, same goes to you! <3

I love when the lyrics and the music are talking about inner truth rather some worldly trash. Some artist have both, so it's a hit and miss of course, including the older artists.

Wish your spirit peace! <3

create something from nothing so as to never run out of resources

unlimited computing power so I can simulate my own universe and other forms of life

being a machine that can keep itself 100 percent functional and not affected by decay or breakdown injury or sickness

having all the knowledge of how atoms and the universe work built directly into my mind
being able to see and manipulate individual atoms with my eyes and fingertips

never needing to sleep eat drink pee shit dream unlimited energy source

having all the mathematical formulas built directly into my mind

being able to read and write machine code in real-time and fully comprehend what is happening

being able to simulate things directly in my mind via mathematical models ie programming

have complete control over my emotions and not be at the mercy of them

being able to re-engineer the machine that i am

basically become a god with the power to create life and destroy life

There's a really good book to me called "Life after Life" that talks about the post earth version of life. It talks about individuals who have near death experiences and are brought back from death. It comforts me to read for what it's worth. Provides some assurance on what's after.

Afterlife, I would want to be superhuman or machine like so that I don't have emotions and much more strength like Master Chief from Halo.

Also, I would just want to be a kid again and not age, just being innocent and carefree, seeing my pets, not aging, constantly learning, watching cartoons and playing my Pokemon cards.

I don't have to imagine it. The Good Place already had the perfect afterlife in the finale of this show.

I could never be satisfied with a heaven I knew was heaven. A reality without even the possibility of negativity would be meaningless. I would immediately begin searching for a way to kill myself (again).

My dream afterlife would be in the arms of god with god telling me i was a good person that tried my best and i did good things. maybe i would get to talk to friends and explain myself, idk. id be forgiven.

Because the main reason to do things is to avoid negative consequences. One eats and drinks to avoid the pain of hunger or thirst, one plays video games to avoid the pain of boredom. In a world without pain or negativity more broadly, there'd be no reason to do any of those things since you'd feel good either way. A world where you don't have to do anything is one devoid of meaning even in the existentialist "I create my own meaning" variety since not creating your own meaning would feel the same as creating your own meaning; there's no incentive, so why would you?

My dream afterlife would be an endless city. Anywhere and everywhere you go, there's always something brand new around the corner. You can do anything you want, eat anything you want, etc. And if I'm bored, I can just go to another city.
