Life taught me money isn't everything. My life is fucked up and can't reverse. I wouldn't be happy if I were millionaire.
Life taught me money is everything.. To be financially independent is the ultimate joy. Taking care of your family is the ultimate purpose of life.

For me, yes. Large sums of money would fix mostly everything wrong with life.

As the only health issue I have is depression brought on by being out of work without enough money to retire at 55 a decent lottery win would solve everything.
I'd still like to get back into the routine of work unless the win was huge.

I would likely stay alive a little while longer just for the hell of it, but would eventually move to Netherlands or Belgium and use the money to live long enough to CTB with the help of a doctor after pleading my case. I think it'd be nice for family and friends to know a doctor validated my suffering.

If it were enough that I could have security and never have to worry about working again, i might consider not CTB. I'm in a high-stress field that I am poorly wired for, with little time for the people or things that make life somewhat meaningful for me. I am a mess of chronic, poorly treatment responsive mental health conditions, and while the outside observer might consider me reasonably high-functioning on some levels, internally, I'm not. At all. If I could eliminate a large measure of my stress and focus more on the right things, I might be able to slog through. I don't know.

It may solve a lot of my problems, but definitely not all of them. Money grants us access to the best of what humanity can offer, but what it can offer is still very limited.

Maybe. One big issue in my life right now is being poor at a dead end job. If I were to win 100 million I could quit my job, take a year or two off, then go to art school just to learn 3D animating and practice my drawing. Like I wouldn't even care about getting a degree I just want to do that for fun haha. I don't know how much it would help with mental illness and past trauma. If I could afford good therapy and medication maybe it really would fix everything but idk.

For my current situation yes money would solve most of my problems. Long term I would still ctb because in the end money will mean nothing...but right now it would mean everything.

Would still be suicidal because my problem is that I don't want to exist period, but I'd definitely not ctb as soon so I can make the world less shitty to those that somehow want to live here.

Money is the source of a lot of my problems, I'd probably say No, it wouldn't fix me. It'd fix my situation but I'd likely end up in the same hole again. So theres no point

yeah, it mostly would. I'd have to find something to keep busy with and not spiral out of control but I think that's doable.

Winning 100 millions would indeed help. Even $100k would be fine :-)

I agree with this. Money would solve all my problems. I'd buy a big ranch to raise horses and build a lovely secluded home for my family. I'd shut myself off from the angry nasty people with a security force if need be. For now I just have to be content with living among the angry nasty people until I'm dangling from a tree.

honestly yes if i won a 100 million lottery i'd just live a relatively minimalist life and not work and i'd be infinitely happier. i'd still have my problems though...
I would like to live the same way. A minimalist life, but the 100 million in my bank account as a reminder that it is there. I can spend my time with my mom and dad and my wife and my daughter

Money wouldn't even make a difference at all. Meaningless to me.

A million would suffice. I'd buy a house, start growing my own food (have experience), get a dog (my dream). Then I'd immediately buy N (have no money for it now) because knowing I can "check out" anytime without being forced and told how to live makes me calm and brings a feeling of freedom. I live a minimalist lifestyle, so no need for more money. Who knows, I might even feel what happiness is again.

I wont lie I have serious debt I will never be able to pay. I have lived comfortably and also very poor. My dad made great money but it brought us punches. My ex husband made great money but it didn't help my depression. Yet the times I had to be creative like using cardboard boxes as end tables because I didn't have any nor money to get any was a great time for me. Raising my son broke as heck knocking on doors to clean houses to make money to give him a christmas gift was a very happy time in my life... the more you have the more you want and it is never enough.

yes. money absolutely buys happiness, freedom, and peace. i have desperately needed my own safe, stable, comfortable housing all my life and never really gotten it. first thing i would do is find a nice apartment with huge windows. ive grown very fond of wandering the streets for hours like a ghost, especially in the dark. who knows how many years i could amuse myself with that alone. it would feel amazing to be able to truly make the world a better place as well. i could give things to the homeless such as socks that they always need. i could offer, instead of a joint or a can of beer, a microdose of a pill with just a good amount of thc to help mellow things out. they are legal here. i am very creative, i could make cool little care packages.

i would also, if possible, buy a two bedroom with two baths in order to properly be able to offer up a guest room free of charge to a homeless youth in dire need, to honour my own past and provide guidance, wisdom, support, love, understanding, and help in an area i am all too familiar with. i just started watching a documentary on homeless youth and i couldnt stop sobbing, so i am still working on finishing it.

the neverending screaming inside my body would finally end.

i would get top surgery, which isnt covered by ontario for non binary people. i would also try to fix my fucked up eyebrow tattoos and possibly get proper healthcare in order to facilitate regrowth. i would somehow fix my dandruff and get excellent skincare to fix my skin.

i would get my whole damn body tattooed instead of just the one hand.

nobody really understand how awful the neverending fear is unless theyve experienced it. money or death can free me and nothing else.
