Well, if that counts I broke 4 smartphones in a span of 3 years by dropping them, but I always buy the cheapest option available precisely because of this.

Not exactly, but I did text people that I'll be there in 5 minutes when I knew for sure it'll take longer than that.

Sort of yes. Usually in these cases I just happen see someone I recognize and want to talk to from far away first so in a way, the few seconds I spend walking up to them is planning to meet them with them being unaware.

Since it is a local dish here, naming it won't matter I guess. But I had mixed feelings at the time for it.
It's taste is far from bad to me at least, though.
