Discussion Does anyone find this site calming?

Ive only been on this site a few days. when i get upset or anxious i read on here and it oddly calms me? Anyone else?

Me too. Specially when I give venting in posts or to specific people.

Here I don't feel attacked as I'm constantly out of here.

It's good to know that I'm not alone, but really sad at the same time. There are so many good, intelligent people suffering every day, being pushed to suicide by this fucked up world and stupid assholes who thrive in it.

Yes i find this site calming. People on here are more real than the people in my life. Too many fakes for my liking. I cant be arsed listening to people being in denial how awesome this world is and how being a wage slave is something to be proud of.

I discovered this site not 2 days ago and it's actually a relief reading everything here. I can't express myself at work (one of my coworkers has actually told me to stop talking or she'd be forced to call the police) but I'm at the point where I don't care what I say or what happens. At least here people seem supportive and non-judgmental and don't view suicide as some evil that has to be avoided at all cost.

Yes, at least here no one tries to save me or scolds me for being "selfish". I got the impression that everyone here is really nice.
Altough it does make me sad seeing how many people suffer here.

It's the only place I've felt like I belonged. Maybe that's a bad thing, but it's better than going through it with no outlet.

This is me, I feel better knowing I'm not alone trying to find a way out. Maybe one day someone will post a holy grail way out that looks natural, doesn't show up toxicology, pain free etc.

This site is actually a blessing.. I've never felt so understood before. I'm so tired of everybody telling me "not to think this way"... As if that will just shake the mental illness right off hahaha. I don't see anything wrong with a community of people who understand each other and ultimately say "you know what, It's okay to feel that way"... This site is awesome and full of wonderful people.
