Honestly I don't know where they get the motivation. I would much rather sell my body to the streets. At least you could then hope for a new dick up your ass each night. But in the case of national news coverage it's the same proverbial "dick" every day, with no end in sight; the same stories about which nobody gives a damn. Over, and over and over.

Everyone likes different things. I like to make myself bleed, other people like to go out with friends. I imagine news anchors just really like their job, and probably don't look at things the way you do.

I like to watch/read the news, so I guess I give a damn. It's actually a pretty fascinating time in American politics right now (and frustrating and kinda depressing), IMO. Just because you don't care doesn't mean nobody does.
