I've been thinking about it, too. It helps with the taste, but for me it is difficult to swallow when everything is numb. Then it takes me too long to drink the whole amount. Then rather a bad taste, but drunk quickly and rinsed afterwards with alcohol.

What i read is to take some honey and Pepto Bismol just before the n. I don't know the reason for the latter. Perhaps it protects against stomach discomfort and helps to prevent vomiting and also its taste helps to cover the n, along with the honey.
