Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

sure i'd invest in infrastructure projects in the least developed remote but beautiful places on planet and devote a decade to push this civilization closer to type 1 even by a little bit... doing that would keep me busy and give my life meaning.
Nope. I'd buy access to whatever ctb method I liked most and then give the money to people who I thought would be able to change the world for the better.
Postpone is permanently. I feel I would be able to create my own paradise with the money which involves living on an Island all by myself, helping the poor by building them houses and food and general education for a better life, adopting many unwanted animals and giving them a nice life. I would also invest in research for a cure for some of my illnesses ptsd/bpd and an attachment disorder caused by my highly abusive birth family. I would be a happier person and I'd like to help a lot of other people who are less fortunate. So I'd postpone it permanently so I lived long enough to see how my generosity changed the life of others.
Always good to get that ray of sunshine from FuneralCry. The reality is 99.999% would postpone indefinitely. Life is too good at the top. I don't believe anyone who says they'd CTB after becoming a billionaire. Money solves almost all problems and opens up a world of wonders.
I agree and wholeheartedly believe anyone who says otherwise is not being truthful, never experienced wealth and its positive consequences or is a fringe case. Note that the absolute majority of the extremely wealthy CTBing occurs after they lost their wealth and status.
I think that would do more to motivate me to ctb sooner rather than postpone it, since it means I'll have a bunch of money to give away to my family. I'd probably end up setting a bit aside for charity too.
I'm already planning to leave a note telling my family to split up some of the money I've saved over the years amongst themselves. The idea of having so much money that I can allow them to live comfortably after I die sounds great!
Not indefinitely. I'd still be mentally unwell and continue having those struggles. I would however never need to work for anyone, focus on my hobbies, live extremely well wherever in the world. We all know the 1% dodge the law and buy themselves out of everything, so perfect opportunity to use said money to plan the perfect ctb to follow through whenever I so choose.

Having that kind of money wouldn't stop me from doing it. Some people just don't give a shit about money, so it's not reasonable to assume people are lying for saying no.
The only good thing about having all that money is I could have easy access to all the peaceful methods I could possibly want.
There's a big difference between CTB because you can't afford the bills, and choosing to live life large after a whopping windfall. Plus with access to top treatments, many mental problems can be overcome.
no true mental illness can be overcome, just if is an episode true mental ilness is chronic, at most one can cope and find ways to live for a long time but the thoughts/needs of CTB will always be there, with that much money one can get a lot of fun and ignore their problems for some time, but nothing will ever be enough at the end of the day they will still be miserable, if it was me i would probably live for a few more months or years until there was nothing else interesting enough then i would try to CTB again
On the contrary, I can die faster if I get rich because then I can afford to pay for euthanasia. Health and avoiding suffering is more important than anything else.

Bullshit, sorry. Maybe if one can still feel something one might be able to take advantage of it, but other than that, no. Sure, it'd be nice getting a VIP health check, blow some money on hookers and cocaine (pun), but at the end of the day, I'd buy myself a ship and get shot out into space and that's that.
There's things money can't fix.
(but I'm happy for all those for whom it still could, mean that xxx)
