Discussion Worst pro life posts you've seen?

I'm not against pro life posts as long as they're honest. If I think things can get better for someone then I'll say but I won't say that if I don't. I think the honesty starts with the poster though. It can be hard to know what they want to hear. If they aren't honest then if they don't like what they get back they have no one to blame but themselves

"God has a beautiful plan for your life" annoys me deeply. Maybe God exists and He does, but why should I suffer because of that?

Apparently God let's children starve to death and die in horrific ways to teach people lessons, so you may just be a lesson for someone else. Gods will may be for you to commit suicide etc who knows

All pro lifers tend to assume everyone is better off alive than dead. Until they stop with that bull shit assumption I am not going to take them seriously.

I checked out that thread and didn't actually hate it. As someone said there the thread got derailed early by some ignoramus making the "it's the coward's way out" argument. But most people on the thread showed their disgust at his remarks. Cleary there are some hardcore prolifers on that thread, but there was also some good information shared (studies about rate, gender differences, etc.) Still, it's clear our community is the place for me.

Probably the shit my biomom posts. She she posts stuff about how she believes in banning abortion and is against the right to die - even for Brittney Maynard. What makes it personal is that she imposed life on me and yet wants to keep the suffering going.

Holy fuck. The Ronald Reagan one can't be true. Please tell me he didn't actually say that. I'm laughing so hard in a "what in the legitimate ass?" kind of way.

The quote that goes something like, "life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain" makes me want to throw up everything I've ever eaten.

Also, not a post, but when I was 14 and suicidal, the ER physician actually told me that I was "just clinically depressed", and that all I needed to do was "go back to school, go for a walk and drink an Ensure twice a day" and I'd be fine... because that's definitely how clinical depression works. /s
