I installed the add-on and it seems to work well so far. So it converts the banner images to base64 and then saves the base64 and thread ID in json format?

yes, it uses the local storage so there's a limit there and better no to abuse the image size, if it's a problem it can be refactored to use indexedDB. It also uses the prebuilt images folder looking for {ID}.png files, that is the most efficient but I need the files before building a plugin version

I see. Really good job with this one. I'll try looking for good banners images for some of the games and then share the json file. If storage becomes an issue, indexedDB sounds like a good idea.
