I think social media have a lot to answer for and being on the computer all days means not meeting people. Dating is a general problem I'm wondering how to deal with.

'Lacking in loyalty'.

I don't want loyalty from someone I'm in love with. I'd rather not have someone 'loyal' to me, I want someone who loves me. I want someone who wakes up and thinks, 'I'm so lucky'.

I'm glad 'loyalty' is a dying trend, because people should stay with someone because they still love them, because they are happy, not because of some imaginary act of charity or chivalry.

Specifically online dating? I tried to set up a profile as someone suggested and so far, I'm getting no responses. I know, that if you go by looks then it will be reciprocated but with Tinder, I accept all women and nothing happens. even on another site.

A combination of Feminism and an advancement of technology, making it easy for people to hook up. You don't need to go to a bar anymore, a few clicks can get you a date. It is very easy for women to get laid on tinder, compared to being near to impossible for men. Want advice? Give up, its not going to change, if anything it will get worse.

It's what you can expect from super-charged blind-dating, but with an easier angle for trolling. Dating is typically a grind but it has a potentially invaluable prize at the end (whether that's relationship or sex) that's hard to find any other way. Given that dangling carrot, some people take advantage of the power dynamic + anonymity and fuck around with others.
It can be said that it's shitty and unfair, but it's also the entirely expected result given those conditions. If you continue to give it a shot, hopefully it helps to accept the thing for what it is.

I'm currently doing the whole online dating thing but not really investing a lot of energy into it because I don't care either way. All my profile says Is that I'm not taking it too seriously because they probably aren't either and I just try to have the series of different pictures to show that I have a face.
I get likes and messages and I've met up in person with someone but so far I've not met or chatted with anyone that I personally would feel like I can really open up to or that I'd wanna hang out with on a consistent basis. I think In person dating wouldn't be much different for me personally but if something happens organically from either I'd be okay with it.

Dating in 2019, I would be frightened to paralysis. I met my wife in the late 80's before the technological / IT boon. I truly believe it was much easier then than now.

I think Asian women are absolutely gorgeous :). But you are right about the women. My daughter is 5' 10" and athletic, I've never seen her date a guy less than 6' 2". The societal "norms" in the US are terrible.

I'm glad I'm not dating anymore. One thing that always bothered me was the fact that I would so often run into women who clearly didn't feel any kind of pressure to work on their personalities. They would feel no qualms about being completely flaky or self-absorbed, and it was painfully apparent a lot of the time.

I remember finding it insulting that I had spent years cultivating myself on a personal level, actually taking the time to improve myself where possible, acutely aware that I needed charm, wit, humor, compassion etc. And none of it needed to be reciprocated because I could be sat opposite the most vile, narcissistic woman, but so long as she was "hot" she was still considered a prize.

I think men are largely to blame for this though - we give women free passes because they look good, or just because they're, well, female. That's one thing I would like to see change, but I don't think it'll happen so long as male thirst is a thing.
