I know what you mean. I always get super paranoid when people laugh near me. I always think they are laughing at me. I have a reason why I'm so paranoid. It's self esteem issues mainly. I think there is something wrong with me. Even though there probably isn't anything wrong. Being bullied at school didn't help.

I live in a very religious state, and the communities surrounding me are all based in said religion. It isn't Catholicism or Christianity, but, it's still based in somewhat similar beliefs.

I personally don't practice it or believe in it, but the presence of it's influence in my life has made an impression. I'm intrigued by the study of angels, demons, and other impressions brought about from certain religions, but I've always stuck to the hierarchy of angels. The book De Coelesti Hierarchia (On the Celestial Hierarchy) always fascinated me, and seraphim are a highlighted point of intrigue. They seem to be a somewhat universal entity in western religions, but the depiction of their presence varies with each different scope on what people believe. The concept of a seemingly beloved, but fearing entity suffocated by its own holy flames is an interesting idea, that it might snuff itself out if it burns too brightly. Or too strongly.

Also, as for my icon, I really enjoy Neon Genesis Evangelion c: I loved that animation sequence near the end of the season, and I think the biblical themes mirrored in the show were fitting to the username haha

I chose my name because I have spent my entire time on this planet, searching. Searching for meaning, searching for happiness, searching for answers, searching for love, for connection, for anything that could help me make some sort of sense in the mess that is my brain. I have spent 52 years on this planet, trying to make sense of it.

I have contributed to people's happiness, I have contributed to people's pain. There are people around me who say that they love me. Most of them think they love me because of the spell I cast on them when I'm singing onstage. A few of them who are in my real life think they love me, but don't know how to really help me.

I search for ways to feel it. I have studied with Wiccan High Priestesses and with Shamans and South African Royal Court Drummers. I have studied so many modalities of thinking, of spirituality and of science and found nothing. I have searched within and without.

I have tried to leave this earth a total of 3 times and have failed miserably. I am Always Searching, because I am Never Finding. And I am here in this forum, searching and hoping that I will find some answers so that I can finally leave and be at peace, once and for all.

mine is a character from an uncompleted story I had been making. A being of armour and fire, he embodied all the hate, the pain, the stress and anxiety, all of that of me. He was the controlled version of it, containing it all inside so he could act rationally, while of course suffering. And if it ever broke out, all that anguish and related would burst out as a separate entity, and consume all it hated and had caused it pain in a rush of fury and hurt.
(The full story of the character and story as a whole takes a long, long time to recount...and it's not even finished )
