Discussion what do you guys do when night hits and the intense feelings too?

kinda same here, dont feel much ever, but at night i dont exactly feel sad, but i feel so so incredibly empty like never before. is it similar for you?

It might be similar, hard to say. I've gotten used to the emptiness. My problem's been going on for over three decades to varying degrees ( still not sure what my label/diagnosis is) and don't care anymore.

Yea, nights can be horrible. When I'm in this super depressive state it's hard for me to watch and listen things, so music and tv are usually a no-go on most nights (I just feel super aggrevated/irritated by stimuli).

Sort of like @FuneralCry said, sleep is the only time I feel any semblance of peace bc it's closest to not existing , so I try to sleep when I feel tired enough. Then when I wake up, even before my eyes open, allll the despair and crushing hopelessness comes rushing back and it starts all over.

this happens to me too, i used to be able to cry and a couple years back i stopped being able to i get the feeling

sleeping is the only thing i look forward to when i wake up, i also wish there was voluntary eternal sleep

honestly, nothing. i guess music. i wouldn't say it helps but makes my mind a little more calm. i still lay here restless sinking into my bed.

every night i feel horrible, and ive heard this is kinda universal, so what makes nights easier for u guys?

music, walks, sleep. my dog, reading/writing busying myself in general maybe go out on a walk or scribble on paper just dont sit alone with ur thoughts
