I'm glad you keep trying! I want to encourage you.
You also got 12/25 on the card, that's almost half of it! I don't think I had that much myself; it was a dull week...

I'll try harder next week.
5 week card
Speaking of next week, here's the new card. I updated the list, but forgot by how much... there's 45 items now.

Last week, the middle space should've been "survive the week", but I realised that too late. Sorry about that.

I will not be able to post a bingo card this week because I had to get my computer taken to be fixed and the resources I need are all on it.

This my end of month report for Challenge 98.

The two habits I aimed to uphold were writing in my journal every day (or at least more frequently than before) and meditating each day for a couple of minutes.
I am writing this on the 29th, the last Sunday of March, and I managed to journal 13 times out of the 29 days so far. This is a significant improvement over how often I bothered to open my journal before; so, despite failing the challenge, I'm content with my efforts.
Meditation and mindfulness on the other hand were almost entirely absent. I did not make time during or at the end of my days to sit with myself. I have decided not to listen to music while walking outside on a few occasions, but I feel I should've done more.

This month was much like any other. Very little happens nowadays. I'd like to make next month somehow more intentional and fun; The next challenge is designed around this idea.

I would like to ask the people who wanted to participate to also share something about their month. I encourage everyone to say something, no matter how brief. This is a community, and we listen to each other, whether discussing progress or failure.
Showing presence is valuable and very much appreciated.

Challenge 99: Monthly Album

As stated in the previous post, I wanted to come up with something to drive attention to everyday things. One of the weekly challenges that received a lot of positive feedback was finding a song for each day of the week to create a "Weekly Playlist"; so I came up with something similar.

Goal
Take a picture of something every day that best captures how that day went for you and save it in an album.
This creates something permanent and requires you to pay just a little bit more attention to the things around you.

Note: Sharing the pictures you take is, of course, not expected, as they can easily contain personal information. Only share what you're comfortable with.

Thank you for reading!

Hello! I'd like to make another announcement. I will not be posting a bingo card this week; instead I made a short questionnaire to get some anonymous feedback regarding both the cards and the challenges.
I would greatly appreciate if you filled it out because I would know if it's worth it to continue posting these things.

Thank you very much for filling it out if you do!

To be honest, I've had very little motivation to do anything these past weeks and I am even struggling to spend time on my own bingo cards.
I'll make an effort to prioratise the bingo card more this week and will share my results regardless if they're good or not.

I would like to thank everyone who filled out the questionaire; I will take the feedback into consideration for next month's challenge.
I would also like to ask the person who submitted their response on April 17th to reach out to me on this burner email (since they are unable to do so on the forum): [email protected]
I would love to be able to ask you some things!

Challenge 100: Group Landscape

The inspiration for this challenge was a portrait drawing of a man I saw a few weeks ago. The drawing was comprised of several others, like a mosaic, and each piece was created by a different person in a different style. Similar to this:
Each year our eighth graders create a collaborative mosaic portrait as part of their study of individuals who have shaped history through movements for social change. This year, the class assembled portraits
I had the idea of redrawing the background art for the different sections on the forum and stringing them together to create a landscape like this:
1777625081314 1777625081322 1777625081331

So, anyone participating would pick one of the backgrounds (not just from the ones here) and recreate them. It can be on paper, drawn digitally, painted… And feel free to add whatever you want that isn't on the original; find a way to make it yours! And ignore the overlayed text, of course.
Once it's finished, post it and it will be attached to the others, creating the landscape. You can create multiple if you wish.

Note #1: I don't know if the designs are found on any other style on the forum; I'm using "Sanctioned Suicide: Dark (2022)". If you don't know, you can change the style like this: Settings -> Preferences.
1777625081344 -> 1777625245022
Note #2: The overall message I got from the questionnaire is that progress with the challenges can feel clunky and there isn't a strong enough reason to post. I'm hoping that recreating these pieces at one's own pace and it being a community contribution would be helpful.

Seems like a cool idea, thought I'd just attach the raw images here for anyone who wants a reference without all the text.
Links to: Recovery, Offtopic, "Discussion", Suggestions, News
Although, if the idea is to do a collaborative mosaic, it's probably best to pick a single one for everyone to do and then piece together at the end.

I wanted to have some variation in the final landscape, which is why I left the choice open. This also makes it easier if someone wants to do multiple.

Also, thank you for the pictures! I now realise I could've reverse image searched for them. I just didn't think I'd find them anywhere else.

10 week card
I can't help but feel this is getting repetitive... I don't know how it is for others. I've been struggling to come up with new spaces despite really needing to.
There are currently only 50 possible bingo spaces; they're in the list.
If you have any ideas you would put on the list, please share them! It can be anything.

(I will upload my results for last week tonight)

I am in no position to judge whether this is a repetitive or not since this is my first bingo I will do. I just get into the Recovery thread last week and this weekly challenge has helped me a lot on distracting me to have some kind of goal in my day to day life.
My take on this Weekly Bingo thingy is that I can't help but feel like we are in an end game. This makes me remember one game I have played which is Def Jam Fight For NY: The Takeover. After you finish the main story in that game. You only have exactly one activity to do, which is to fight in The Dragon Ring. And there's like, 20-30 opponent choosed at random to fight 1v1 againts you. So what I'm trying to say is that I love grinding and mastering in something I did for a long long time. When I play that game, I spend more time in the 'end game' rather than the main story because that's just how I am. But what's make this thread better than the game is that this thread have new stuff to do every month in form of the Monthly Challenge.
I've been trying to catch up with all the challenge from week #1 (I'm currently in the week #4 gonna make S'more). So I think it is nice that now, the Weekly Challenge has turned into Monthly Challenge and I have a chance of catching up + Weekly Bingo I can do as a 'side dish' while I catch up.
This message might not help you in any way because it is just me purely rambling. But I want to say a simple thank you for keeping the thread alive.
If you have any ideas you would put on the list, please share them! It can be anything.
This is my suggestion:
1. Sleep for 8 hours
2. Wash my shoes/sandals
3. Discover a new song
4. Journaling for a day
5. Watch a movie
6. Pet a stray cat
7. Write a short story
8. Doodle anything
9. Shuffle a deck of cards
10. Use a perfume
11. Wash my bottle/tumbler
12. Read a fictional character fandom
13. Don't use headphone for a day
14. Clean phone/laptop screen
Feel free to change it to however you see fit so it can be used inside the Bingo

It helps because I love seeing that someone is actively participating, though starting from the very beginning is quite ambitious; wish you the best of luck!
Can't wait for you to catch up and hear your feedback on how the present compares to the past.

If I may also ramble a bit, your videogame comparison resonates with me a lot. I don't know if you've ever played Mud Pit on Roblox, but it's the exact same theme.
You're placed in an improvised trench in the middle of a field with increasingly overwhelming waves of enemies pouring over the horizon, with your only goal being to survive. It's a very simple game, but I love its slow pace and gradual escalation. The fact it never ends and all you can do is struggle is very appealing to me. I've had runs lasting over 3 hours.

Additionally, I looked at your suggestions and I'll replace go to "bed on time" with "get 8 hours of sleep", as that is clearer. I'll also be adding 2, 7, 8, 10 and 14.
Thank you very much for your contribution!

Hahahaha I know that it very ambitious indeed. But I'm also doing it without rushing or anything, I don't want a burnout from this thing helping me recover. When I feel like I don't know what I need to do, I just refer to this threads just for the sake of occupying my mind with something.
The fact it never ends and all you can do is struggle is very appealing to me.
Yeah, for me the feeling is like something melancholic. I always feared the infinity, but also at the same time it is kind of nice to have. To know that its always be there whenever I come back
Thank you very much for your contribution!
You're welcome! Glad I can help!
