14 week card
Here week 14 finally! I will have a lot more free time in the coming months and will try to get my shit together; that means more consistent cards (so not at the end of Mondays, but of Sundays) and challenges.
I will post the final quiz soon as well as an update!

The final quiz for the rest of the month is "What's your spirit animal?"
I tried looking for a quality quiz, this was the best I could find: https://www.arealme.com/spirit-animal-quiz/en/
I had a hard time because every website either uses AI images or has weird, convoluted questions. The one I linked is also flagged by some sites as using AI for some of the descriptions, but it wasn't as certain as for the other ones.
The drawing will have to be about the animal according to your results, and I will finally be able to do this one myself!

I received peacock: confidence and honor.
When you're feeling down, it can be hard to see the positive in life. It's like there's a cloud hanging over you that blocks out all the sun. But when you're with your spirit animal, peacock, that cloud lifts and everything becomes clear. The world is filled with beauty, and you feel like anything is possible. You always have the ability to make things happen for yourself, but sometimes it takes someone who believes in you as much as you believe in yourself to help turn your dreams into reality. That's where peacock comes in: he helps you realize what is possible so that when he's gone, his message stays with you forever.
Wow, I'm proud. And to think my room is full of butterflies and hummingbirds! I guess, time to collect peacocks.

Got Butterfly, seems to be a symbol of constant grow and transformation

Butterfly spirit animal is the symbol of rebirth and change. A butterfly has a short life span, but it can be reborn many times. The butterfly is also associated with love and intimacy. Butterflies are symbols of beauty, grace, and lightness. They are also symbols of the soul and its journey through the afterlife. Butterflies are often associated with transformation and change, because they undergo a drastic transformation from caterpillar to butterfly. The butterfly symbolizes the pure soul that has been cleansed by death or suffering, so that it can be reborn in another form or state. Butterfly spirit animal people have strong intuition and are able to see things from different perspectives than most people do. They are also very sensitive to their surroundings, so they can sense when something is not quite right in their environment or among their friends or family members. They feel deeply about things that seem trivial to others, like an ugly sweater or a song on the radio that makes them cringe but everyone else seems fine with listening to for hours at a time without complaint!

This is a curious image of a butterfly, may trigger some users, its weird in some way.

The quiz for the third week is the Myers Briggs personality test. You probably have heard of the 16 personality types or have already taken the test; in the latter case, you don't need to retake it unless you feel the need to.
Once you have your results,
the drawing you have to create is of yourself as the character the quiz gave you. You can adapt it to your own style, change their accessories and items to better who you are.
There are many versions of the test, I took this one: https://www.16personalities.com/

Note #1: In regards to the landscape from the previous challenge — I'm working on it and will get it done in the coming weeks. I haven't forgotten.
I have done that quiz before. But I still retake the quiz, and I still have the same personality, which is The Architect. I also decide to try trace drawing. I don't like it. Sure its very easy to do, but I dislike how its also limit my drawing. 1782546642790

Well since everyone is sending the picture of their spirit animal, I'm gonna do that too. Got exhausted trying to draw every week lol. So I got dragonfly. Very fitting actually, because last week when this quiz originally got send, I actually save a dragonfly from a spider web when I was doing laundry. What a pleasant quiz indeed!

I also got dragonfly as a result! It didn't even come to mind as a possibility, I was surprised when I saw it. Not quite done with the darwing, but I plan to finish it today.

Here's the bingo card; I can't properly load it in. The forum's acting up...
I will now also start including a "guide" with each card detailing how to participate. If there's something that's still unclear, please let me know and I will add it to the pdf!

Here's my results for the previous week too. I got a bingo! I was lucky that I got both chess and wordle in the same row. The word I had to guess was "emcee"; took me half a day.

I also trace sometimes, typically when I like a drawing, but would like to change certain aspects of it. I might trace the body, but completely alter the hairstyle and eyes. You don't have to limit yourself to just the original work.

Hahahaha what a coincidence. Good luck with drawing it, I'm not very good at drawing natural thing and not heavily stylized, and I don't feel like learning how to draw animal.

I don't think The list.txt is clickable on that PDF? Is it supposed to be clickable? Its just the file icon and the name "The list.txt. Though other than that, it is a well made guide. Makes it more obvious that you can be more creative with this, I already alter some of the task in the bingo too, because I know these can't really fit for everyone.
Like for example doing the wordle. I do wordle like, everyday a year ago, to the point right now its getting pretty boring and easy. So I change the wordle to balatrodle. It was a guessing game like wordle, but with Balatro joker
Here's my results for the previous week too. I got a bingo! I was lucky that I got both chess and wordle in the same row. The word I had to guess was "emcee"; took me half a day.
LOL, why the hell would emcee be a word, though I also got my fair share of weird word back then too

Yeahh you can do that yeah, but the reason I was doing the tracing in the first place was because I'm not really in the mood on using my creative mind. So I just trace it in the middle of a lecture

Correct :ahhha:
I wrote it in Word and actually attached it, but the forum doesn't take Word, so I had to convert it.

Challenge 102: Daily Stretches

If you're like me, you spend a lot of time sitting and not getting enough exercise, which leads to not being very flexible.
Building a habit of regular stretching can be helpful with some forms of exercise and increases range of motion letting you move around more comfortably.
It is also a great reliever of menstrual pain that helps many people. Though in case of debilitating menstrual cramps, you should see a doctor if possible, as it can be a sign of more serious issues.

The goal is to do a stretching routine every other day for the month.
-It is recommended, especially for exercises that require laying/sitting down, that you find a soft, comfortable surface (a simple carpet might be too thin).

-For any exercise that require a position to be held, aim to hold it for 30 seconds with proper form. If you are unable to, hold it for less, but keep the form as proper as possible.

-You should perform unfamiliar exercises slowly and carefully.

-If an exercise feels uncomfortable, painful, or like it isn't working – ask someone you know is qualified, or let me know and I will research and include more precise instructions.

-Don't hurt yourself! If you don't know your own limits, take things slowly. Stop and take a break or even a day off if you feel that you need to. Some discomfort is normal, sharp pain is not. If you feel something concerning, see a professional.
There is a disclaimer at the end of the document.

There are multiple options available. Each day pick one of the listed routines and do it from start to finish, the second day is a break (though you can try to stretch daily if you want). You may choose the same one, but not twice in a row. (read through all of them before picking).

Note #1: The document I drafted contains too many images and much formatting to be pasted here, so I will upload a pdf instead. If this causes any issues when trying to access it, let me know - I will find another way to upload the file.

Note #2: I wanted to apologise for posting this late. I thought I would have more free time this month, but it's still difficult to convince myself to do things. I'm working to fix that though.

Note #3: I have also included the image of the last routine separately because it was cropped off.

The final quiz for the rest of the month is "What's your spirit animal?"
I tried looking for a quality quiz, this was the best I could find: https://www.arealme.com/spirit-animal-quiz/en/
Here's my unfinished drawing of a dragonfly. I used an image I found online for reference. I hope I can finish it, I just didn't want to delay the post any longer.

What a coincidence, very very beautiful coincidence. I've been doing yoga-ish stretch every night for 15 minute followed by squats for the last month. Though sadly I stopped like a week ago because I'm tired from going home at 8PM almost everyday due to end of semester busyness. Then this challenge pop up and that is enough reason for me to start doing it again. So thank you

I usually hold it for 1 minute, take a break for 30 second, repeat it 3 times. Do this for every position. But I reccomend finding what's best for you. Since from the video I watch, they take a break for 1 minute, for me 1 minute is too long so I cut it down to 30 second
Note #2: I wanted to apologise for posting this late. I thought I would have more free time this month, but it's still difficult to convince myself to do things. I'm working to fix that though.
I feel you on this, but its okay, we are all trying our best in here. Its kind of suck how we always being so harsh on ourselves while taking pity on others. Like, I can tell you that you need to be more forgiving to yourself, but not to myself. I'm still gonna tell you these, no need to be so harsh to yourself, you need to be more forgiveful to yourself.
Here's my unfinished drawing of a dragonfly. I used an image I found online for reference. I hope I can finish it, I just didn't want to delay the post any longer.
It looks majestic yo! Love how the paper color also adds to that feeling

I'd like to address my recent absence. I'm still here, just taking a break from everything now that I finally have the chance. I apologise for not stating this sooner...
I would like to make a reminder that if anyone would like to come up with ideas of their of own and post them, it is always welcome! and helps keep the thread alive.
I will resume posting both challenges and bingo cards, starting September.

aight fuck it we ball

My challenge to sasu is to tell 2-3 friends that your suicidal and report back what happens

you dont have to say suicdal
you can just say you;re doing shit

Preface - I am under active engagement with the public mental health team due to my suicidality and risk

I'll go first

I sent this to a few of my friends (some variations of the second part depending on the friend)
I'm doing terrible but I have the appropriate services involved. Don't worry about me but having your occasional messages have been nice x
I had to co create that message with a close friend before sending it to a bunch of my mates
Sharing the suicidal scale

Im practicing being vulnerable, turning the tap up slowly without overflowing/ovewhelming and flooding the house

I got really warming responses with time
It took a while, but my friends responded
Gentle check ins
Grabbing food/organsing a dinner catch up
One friend threating to piss on my grave and break his other leg if I kill myself (no joke)
One friend reaching out to me a while later saying that she's really scared of losing me, and proud of me of being open to her

Genuinly positive,
It just took a while to see the effects

Good luck x <3

Not really part of this challenge, but recently I told a couple of friends what they'd think if I were to die. (The only 2 people I'm in touch with, tbh)

The first one is a girl that has similar issues to mine and is suicidal. I am starting to have problems with her, bit I'm not sure if it's because I'm starting to dislike her as a person or if it's something in general towards everyone.
Either way, she was very sad about if. She has tried for years to fight back my self esteem issues and other radicated problems, but that never got anywhere. She begged me to see some specialists ("I am fine" "Wanting to kill yourself is not fine" "but if I don't wanna change since I deserve this way of being why would I seek help?") but I don't really trust psychologists nor psychiatrists... even tho, now that I think about it, many people have offered to "help me". Prolly because it's clear as day I'm not good at functioning properly lol
After 3 months of reflection (summer) l told her I was sure about committing before Christmas. It was way too cruel I think, I'm not too sure now (even if I'll probably start feeling worse again soon) and she respected my decision, maybe even too much, since she wanted to know the website I was getting all my informations from (SaSu). I refused. I hope she never gets to find out. I love SaSu but she is a good person that I'd like to be alive.

Another friend wasn't worried, he accepted too. He said it wouldn't be fair to make me live a life I don't want and that me committing wouldn't make him commit too but he'd be affected. Negatively.
He also struggles with many problems (I think he may be depressed) so hearing that relieved me.

Does this count as an answer? I have a couple friends I could say things to but they both are on antidepressants. I don't wanna bother them. And I don't know anyone else lol

+ I'm happy someone wrote here. I noticed it sometime ago but I don't feel like really belonging in recovery and don't wanna bother anyone... but the idea behind this thread is super nice.

Does this count as an answer? I
Yes and thank you for sharing your story

I don't feel like really belonging in recovery
Ah yeah it's hard to know what labels you want to idenify with
My behaviour and my internal voice are wildy different

I have a couple friends I could say things to but they both are on antidepressant
Upto you really, I had refreshingly warm responses and sometimes being able to bring it up, allows other people to share their inner world as well

She begged me to see some specialists
Yeah i get that vibe
I only started getting help to make my friends less worried

I think it's a bit like if you had an uncle who had cancer, you'd be sad
And if they just refused all chemo/meds and just wanted to drink orange juice there would be a little bit of sad
I think it's been less of feeling cured by working with my mental health team, and more reducing my suffering less which has helped

but I don't really trust psychologists nor psychiatrists
Yeah i get that too... took me a long time to trust them as well
They are in the end only human

Thanks again for sharing, and always keen to hear thoughts

I'm looking forward to when @LancyLoew comes back to this thread =)
Very wholesome seeing everything here
