Story was telling this to someone a good idea?

so just yesterday my friend asked me if he could inform a mutual friend about my sa'er and my friend who kind of enables her behavior
(if u count it as him knowing she sa'ed me and completely ignoring it and is probably still friends w her to this day)
he wants to inform this mutual friend bcs the mutual friend let's call him O does not know ab the things they did and my friend said it was important for him to know because he doesn't know he's friends w Interesting people.

so we ended up telling O, he thanked us and he wanted to speak w me. he was really nice but admitted to me he was hurt because the people who he trusted the most turned out to be not so good people.

i feel bad because i feel like i ruined something or is this for the good, i know these people are bad but same time i dunno if i just ruined them or something cause they don't rly have friends

You are absolutely not in the wrong here. If I knew a rapist, I would hope someone would tell me I was hanging out with someone like that.

i dont understand why he felt the need to tell you, the victim, that he was hurt by ur abusers and their enablers actions. i feel like that just made you feel bad for something that wasnt your fault, im sorry. please dont take this as a reason not to tell the truth about someone, either way people will be hurt but this is the better outcome of the two, and just because its coming from you doesnt mean you are the one hurting them if that makes sense.
anyway, it depends on the situation whether it was good or bad to say. if this person has no intention of stopping their behaviour or has made no obvious effort to, then it was a good idea and potentially prevented further hurt. in this case you shouldnt care whether it ruined them bc it was their fault for being an awful person in the first place, if they didnt want to lose their friends they should have thought about that first.

i don't think he meant any harm by saying he was hurt i think he was just upset that his friends turned out to be assholes, he is cutting them off i think

i agree but she didn't rape me, it was more noncon kissing / touching !
