Even if nuclear war happened, it is NOT the way to go. Unless you happen to be exposed/outside/no cover and very near to the bomb when it goes off, you will suffer immensely. I think burning to death is among the most agonizing ways to die, and getting hit by a nuclear bomb is very similar.
