Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So this is a short post but my family, for my birthday, gave me a gun. This, of course, isn't super uncommon where I live. It's a tiny .22 handgun, I would never use it to ctb, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't one of my first thoughts when receiving it.

Of course, using one to ctb would be rather foolish, since even from a little research, it seems there's far too high of a chance to survive for my comfort. Plus, I have the funds to afford a more assured exit if I ever desire such. This does somewhat feel like a middle finger from the world, though.

edit to add: This gun was given to me so I can have some form of home protection as well, since I just moved out recently
