As expected the Supreme Court have ruled on the rights of trans women in law and decided trans women are not protected by law as women.
The EHCR (equalities dept of our government) have made a statement saying the will act at pace to enact this as it pertains to discrimination and law re trans women.
What this effectively does is removes protections for trans women in law and society against discrimination due to the recent change in phrasing to allow discrimination based on gender identity IF it achieves a specific aim.
The loose terminology makes this unable to actually be legally acted upon as it is too ambiguous.
So please everyone spare a thought for the trans and non binary people of the UK.
