Strange beliefs causing isolation

During a period of my time I looked into serial killers. In one documentary it was mentioned that Edmund Kemper was narcissistic and schizotypal on top of a psychopath. I thought to myself that's a similar mix isn't it, as I see myself as autistic, narcissistic and schizotypal.

And that's the theme of this thread, schizotipy. I find that my beliefs and strange experiences alienate me from people. My last semi-friends online had to be metaphorically put down because they became rabidly hostile over me being firm about the Mandela Effect not being a memory problem.

They say schizotypals are often friendless in adulthood.

I just try to find a balance between being my weird self and finding similarities with the group. Unless I know an acquaintance is into weird things like me I never share. I've never found it fun or productive to share these things with someone who isn't open.

You have to stay true to yourself internally though. There are a lot of people into the stranger side of life and who enjoy questioning our reality. You just have to hope to find your types.

Honestly, while I am not mentally all 'there' myself, for lack of better terminology, I like hearing about the perspective and lived experiences of other people who don't get to discuss them much. I think that it is valuable, even if I don't experience the same thing or have a complete understanding of it.

Yeah, there are wackier beliefs to be sure but the few people I discussed it with that didn't know about it where like "Yeah, right... Sooo, do you think about this much? Does it obsess you?" as in "Is this a harmless delusion or a dangerous one?"
