Happy to hear you are out. Give yourself some time and space. We are always here for you.
glad that you are out :) which anti emetic that made throw up the SN? u were not suppose to throw upI'm finally out, debating on trying to improve life and see from there. I made some good friends while "locked up". I almost had to go before a judge, my life isn't really better. But I think part of it was being scared of what's next. In the moment it was more being scared of the possible nothingness. But there was a bunch of bs "be positive" and other stuff. One of the counselors actually listened, but the other one that claimed she had issues was very all about the bootstraps. Being in a conservative state is bs, they used old af information in groups, and there were some educated people there that agreed. The experience of being there and feeling gaslit and being told to "get over it".
Can you confirm this in any way? I used to have a scale but i gave it away when i stopped dealing. I really don't want to borrow one from my boyfriend...You don't need a scale 2 TBSP is 27 grams
Yes I googled the conversionCan you confirm this in any way? I used to have a scale but i gave it away when i stopped dealing. I really don't want to borrow one from my boyfriend...
I found this so helpful! @Stan maybe this should be in your guide?Yes I googled the conversion
Tablespoons?! are you sure-they are pretty big spoons! You don't need a scale 2 TBSP is 27 grams
Thks. just gathering info now- in case I can re order.Traditional: 1 teaspoon = 5g, 3 teaspoons = 1 Tablespoon. 1 tablespoons therefore =15g, so 2 tablespoons = 30g, so metalchic is about right. It is approximate though and we are talking level spoons, not heaped.

Volume to Weight conversions for common substances and materials
Convert volume to weight for different substances and materials based on their density. Volume and calculated weight are in different units of measurementwww.aqua-calc.com
Type "sodium nitrate, ground" and it shows you everything you need :)
I tried using this I must be retarded can't figure it outI found this so helpful! @Stan maybe this should be in your guide?

Tablespoons are different sizes in different countries unfortunatelyThat is super useful. I wish someone would just buy a scale and measure it out for us and say exactly how many tablespoons and teaspoons it is. Maybe they already have (i haven't been able to get through the entire SN mega-thread), but I am kind of thinking of doing that now.

Hey there, glad to hear you are okay and that your stint in the psych ward is over. I totally know how the human pin cushion thing feels, so uncomfortable. But it shows how strong you are to be able to make some jokes and be somewhat light about the experience <3 I am curious, during your experience, aside from burning and dizziness did you feel any pain, cramping or sensation that you couldnt breathe? Can you say about how long after vomiting you made the call? I genuinely appreciate you keeping us updated with the details of what you went through it really helps, I hope its not rude to ask further questions I mean no harmI had Zolfran, but it felt hot going down my throat, and my body just rejected it. I was not prepared at all for the taste. Even with what I threw up I had enough that it would have killed me had my SI not kicked in. I know it's not the recommended anti emetic. From what I understand people have thrown up with and without it. I could be wrong, but I know my experience with it kinda helped but didn't. I made lots of salty jokes at the hospital and I have been using less salt on stuff because the memory of the taste.
I can confirm the sweating, and burning up, also dizziness. I was okay at first after I through up. It kinda hits you, quickly once it gets in your system. The doctor (psych) tried to tell me it is used for fireworks but I'm pretty sure she was talking about another thing. I felt like an experiment for a minute with how many nurses and students went around and by my room.
Thank youSo where it says volume, you leave that at 1, meaning you want to see 1 Tablespoon for example. Then on the right of that, use the drop down menu to choose "US Tablespoon" or whatever you want to see.
The circled are the results. 1 US Tablespoon = 17.76g. 1 US Teaspoon = 5.92g.
So 17.76+5.92=23.68g or if you round it off 18+6=24g. I assume these results are for flat spoons not heaped, so if you heaped them a bit you would have your 25g???
Seems dependable, esp since in generic terms 1 Tablespoon (Tbsp) is labeled as 15g, 1 teaspoon (tsp) is 5g, but we all know each chemical has it's own density, so for example 1 Tbsp of flower does not weight the same as 1 Tbsp of sugar as seen here. Here you can see 1 Tbsp of flower is 9.06g, sugar is 12.5g, and powdered sugar is 7.19g. That's a pretty big difference between the 12g and 7g. I don't know how the SN comes, so I guess using a scale, for the more detail oriented and paranoid ones like me is prob the right choice. OR just say F it and you can trust that site...
