  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Please forgive me that my English is not so good.

My Question: What about the shelf life/efficacy of SN?

I managed to get SN, which is not easy in Western Europe. It's from Poland and came in a plastic can with 500 gr content. According to the label, 98.5 percent pure.

Is it possible to transfer a smaller amount of it into a smaller vessel, or does this entail the risk that the nitrite will become unusable nitrate in a short time?

(I can't find the search function here. Tried with three browsers. No search button to see.)

I know which one you bought, it's probably the most reliable source in the EU (at least of the sources I know), but it's indeed a big plastic can which is hard to hide.

Nitrite turns into nitrate when exposed to oxygen, so I personally wouldn't open the can at all if you don't plan to use it soon and want to keep it as a backup. There should be an expiry date on the plastic can, but I think the shelve life will be longer if it remains unopened and stored correctly.
