I there a OTC antiemetic I can use? I'm located in the US and it seems like getting my hands on the ones recommended won't happen. Trying to leave in the next 2 weeks so I really need an alternative. I don't wanna attempt sn without it because of how many reports there are of constant vomiting.

I'm in the same boat. I just ordered my SN. Would something natural like ginger work? Like mixing the SN with ginger infused water? Or maybe smoking cannabis?

I've seen reports of people taking it without and it being successful. So I'm going to attempt that.

I can't get it to tag you.

@Circles

Have you figured out your benzo situation yet? I'm quite versed in them so if you're still wondering lemme know.

One question. If the SN bottle is opened does it begin to lose its effectiveness? I would like to test mine but I don't plan on using it for at least a year or two.

I see there is a bit of conflictual information on SN dosage. Stans guide says 20 gr for regular people and 25 gr for large size. PPH DEC 2019 recommends the general leathal dose of 25 gr. So how much should we be taking? 20 or 25 gr for regular sized individuals?

I don't see how that is conflicting unless you left something out?

WEll if i follow Stans guide I should be taking 20 grams as I am regular size and if I were to follow the latest PPH , I would need to take 25 grams as that is the recommended dose. So , its 5 grams.

Well it's up to your interpretation of things for the guide for regular/large.

It's up to you for what you decide to do in the end though too.

Use 25 gm , people who succeeded used this amount as a fail safe measurement.

Curious. Used plain water (and realised that it has selenium in it)... Does anyone know if this will have an adverse effect?

This appeared up top, is this normal? I mostly just don't want to fail.

Few things just out of curiosity, how do you know it's in your water, and that's what's causing that.

And the other, do you just have bottled water or similar? even just to see if there's something different between the two types?

Because I bought exactly this, confusing it with neutral pH. Wasn't intentional. Also, I don't know what's causing the "foam" or if it's normal, which I was hoping to confirm if possible. It's mostly cleared away now, but I don't know if it'll effect anything.

Is anyone concerned about choking on their vomit whilst semi conscious?

i'm just worried about how the rapid breathing rate and nausea might increase these chances. I was thinking about this the other day with the documented SN attempt of @Moonicide. Wheezing/choking sounds were heard. Could she have been choking on her vomit?

Thoughts?

That's actually just normal death sounds (so to speak) when dieing. It happens all the time.

Hello everyone,

I am still new to this forum but i have been lurking around for awhile.
I have seen reports of seizures through this method without using certain med to help prevent that. Does anyone know the severity of the seizures; grans mal, petit-mal or atonic?
I am just wondering becuase of the noise it could generate, such as thrashing around and knocking things over or producing other noises that could lead to you being found before you ctb.

I am trying to research as much as I can about SN and I found the following article about methemoglobinemia : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1071541/. What worries me is the following: "N-Acetylcysteine, cimetidine, and ketoconazole are experimental therapies in the treatment of methemoglobinemia that have shown some promising results.20,21,22 Exchange transfusion is reserved for patients in whom methylene blue therapy is ineffective."

We are taking cimetidine or famotidine or ranitidine as an antacid to INCREASE the chances of succes with SN but here it is said that cimetidine is actually considered to be a recovery therapy for methemoglobinemia. What am I missing here?

"But if members are concerned about taking the antiemetic with antacids then don't take the antacid"

wait so is there an issue with taking both antiemetic with anta acid, or is this just saying you don't need to take both? Not sure if this means there's a bad reaction if you take both, someone please clarify.thx

If I look at the first post in this thread, you have to keep stirring until it looks completely solved.

It was definitely 100% dissolved, there was just some form of thin unknown residue on the top. No crystals or anything on the bottom

It is important that all of the SN is dissolved. If there are crystals still at the bottom of the glass, add small bits of water and keep stirring. The aim is to use as little water as possible.

Maybe add more water, small amounts?
