Ok, so dreaming is a great way to escape. The best dreams leave you in euphoria, you constantly look back on them in happiness. Your worst dreams though, leave you feeling like shit, you are left feeling misrable with them.

Then you have the weird dreams. You are left confused and questioning yourself because they are so random, like why did I dream of that?
They could be of things you don't even think about anymore and then they literally pop out of nowhere.

For me my weird dream was being chased by a hovering YouTube channel logo, that was very angry and making grunting noises as I ran away, this didn't have legs or arms, it just agressively floated at me.

So please tell me, have you had something like this before. Share with me your weird dreams???

Dreaming (in the literal sense, while sleeping) is one of my favourite activities. I kind of feel free from the paradoxes and constraints of real life. Of course, dreams have their own paradoxes, but they sometimes make more sense than real-life paradoxes. :D

One of my favourite recurring themes in dreaming is travelling between European countries, but they are kind of imagined, kind of a mixture of realities. Meeting people I don't know in real life, but somehow are my friends in the dream... Having nice conversations, feeling at peace. Example of a situation: I used to pick oranges for a living for nearly 5 years. Sometimes in a dream I find myself in an orchard with former colleagues, laughing, not really feeling the pain of hard physical work. It's not grim, but almost like a sanctuary.

Then there is traveling, sometimes to places of the past that are not exactly what they were and have a different light to them. Places in other countries, that don't actually look like the countries in real-life. Moving around the city where I live, but it is a good mixture of other places, gardens, people... I swear sometimes I think some dreams are better than reality, and make more sense too. No presence of the usual temporal and spatial constraints. Things just flow.

Regarding a particular weird dream - for e.g., dreaming that I am student back to school again and the next moment I am doing adult stuff, like driving a car on some sort of a highway. Hard to remember dreams exactly.

I have a lot of dreams about my own death and I also have like a house in most of my dreams that's like the same place but it changes kind of over the years but my favorite dreams are slipping around the strange corridors of the house between secret tunnels and hidden closet passages and hiding places. but literally since deciding for sure to CTB my "house" is all fucked up inside and I can't hide in any of the usual closets etc this probably sounds so boring. I do have like cool dreams I've dream journalled and lucid dreamed but mostly I just find interesting seeing the changes in the constant software my dreams over the years. At this point I could almost attempt a map at some of the locations because they used to all feel like separate dream locations and random but now it's really like when I fall asleep I just go to this secondary but predictable other "reality" and live a second life there, which I can only ever half remember upon waking. So it's taken years to even piece all that together

Last night I had a really weird dream about a friend of mine from back when I was a kid. He was all grown-up and I, for some reason, was allowing him to grope my boobs and kiss me. This wasn't even like a wet dream or anything, especially since the entire time I was upset because I wanted my bf to be the one I shared those experiences with. It was just weird, especially since I haven't thought much about this person in years. There was a bunch of other weird shit going on as well, but I don't remember those things well enough to put them into words.

I was kidnapped by cia governemtn officals and taken into a top secrect lab. I was drugged to be asleep so they could do experiments on me. I was also kidnapped and tested on along side one other person. when I woke up I had scars all over my body stappled shut letting me know I had been disected and put back together. when i woke up in the dream still I had this new power I never had before like super sonic hearing I could hear everthing. I had to hide this from the cia officials so they would't use it against me and I coudl use it to escape.

dream meaning: feelings of fragmented personality, feelings that aspects of my personality are shattered and put back together in some way. the new found ability is a new found emotional awareness I had for myself and others. cia officials are likley prblems in my life I feel are after me and testing who I am as a person

August 4th (from dream log) - was interesting since I messaged a user who talked about their prescriptions being denied or smth.

Slept from past 11:30pm to maybe 7am or so, temp sus with warm clothes and medium blanket, 17C, 16.5C. Held dream for maybe 2h before writing to paper for a bit (around 9:52am), and didn't log here until late. Logged from 6:48pm to 6:58pm.

Memory of some cube room structure, rumoured to contain 43,000 pills (filling most of the room and they had to be scooped from outdoors / outside the brown partitions), I only dispense a few hundred somehow to a customer. Some random objective eith multiple tricky steps was given, upon reentering dream, other steps weren't able to be achieved (involved helping someone cancel some ward thing).

%s was in car, door open and car temp high, and I was about to enter, tho I checked the boot first for my white water bottle, and wasn't able to find it, so turned away and took a few steps, then %d asked me to put a white paper poster in the bin, upon opening the red (garbage) bin, I saw another poster thing and other rubbish, put the poster in, tho would have liked to recycle it instead (yellow bin)

I recently had a dream RFK Jr. was chasing me down in a high-end hotel lobby because I was running around with an oversized dildo I found in the fountain. He was trying to moral police me, saying I was destroying America.

I had a dream that I went to jail for participating in encampment at a local park and at the jail it was basically love island and I became besties with Amaya and a little bit with Andreina and Huda

I've had a lot of wierd dreams about Pokemon. Once I dreamed that Ho-oh and Rayquaza were allowed in Natdex OU, and that Dusknoir, Cradily, and Rayquaza were all B- tier on the viability rankings. I don't know why Ho-oh, given that it is literally the number 3 pokemon in Natdex Ubers.

Sometimes I write my dreams down in random places. Just checked one of those places and one of the entries just said; "sending a gif of will smith w a long forehead n calling it longscaring". Dream me just created a new type of jumpscare.

most of my dreams are unpleasant. idk if youd call them nightmares tho.

i freguently dream in great vivid detail. it feels incredibly real. at some point, the world starts twisting.. and then i realize im dreaming. but i cant quite control my dream like most lucid dreamers. its more like i become a playable character in a video game. i start making conscious choices, but i cant change the dream's enviroment or what it does to me.

i start to try to wake up.. and find myself trapped. physically i can feel my eyelids twitch, and my head start to ache. but im mentally trapped in the dream. its a different type of terrifying, to know youre dreaming but you cant wake up. when i do start to wake, it feels like everything is made out of lead, and i have to force my eyes to stay open. i literally have to fight to not fall asleep and become trapped again.

usually the only way to really wake up is to kill myself in the dream. ive gotten so used to it that the moment i "become conscious" within my dream, i immediately find the nearest ledge to throw myself off of.
only about twice though, ive run into the problem of killing myself within the dream- only to wake up in another layer of the same dream. that's the scariest dream of all, i genuinely thought i would never wake up.. :']
