I think GoodPersonEffed saif that you don't really need an anti-emetic or anything besides SN to use it for CTB.

Xanax is a benzodiazepine which is the recommended sedative so I don't see a reason to take sleeping pills too unless you want to get knocked out before you can even drink the SN. If you have a prescription just take the dose on your prescription, if you don't then I would take 2mg.

I have prescriptions already for everything needed for a "luxurious" SN experience, which was the final deciding factor for this method. Going to be taking Ativan (benzo) and seroquel (for sedation), propranolol to minimize heart racing, Reglan for the nausea/vomiting factor, and maybe a mild muscle relaxer just to boot and relax muscle contractions. Pain meds and antacids will be regular over the counter stuff. I think I'll be sufficiently doped up from the benzo and sedative to not be very bothered by anything.

I think I'm going to skip the propranolol and just use a bunch of benzos and the AE. I'm not convinced I won't sabotage my attempt. Has nothing to do with how much I want it, it's just what I inevitably do. Research showed me that adding a bunch of propranolol may set me up for brain damage that otherwise would be unlikely. Not a proven theory, but I'm not fucking with it.

I think you're right. It "potentiates" the SN effects by lowering blood pressure and heart rate.

Exactly. The rapid heart rate is the body protecting the brain by ensuring it gets enough oxygen. That's why people who are treated don't have brain damage. Cutting off the body's emergency oxygen supply to the brain (by keeping pulse slow) would, in my theory, result it much more rapid brain damage. I think that's fine for people who are confident they won't be discovered early and who are 100% sure they won't call for help and can manage their SI… that's not me, lol.

I don't see any problem with it. I have Olanzapine too. I'm taking it an hour and a half before SN.
