Doesn't matter if you do SN, N, charcoal, hanging, etc. Just curious what's your preference.

My preferences - in order:

1). Car
Pro: I'll drive somewhere at night that's quite isolated and do not attract any busy body. I have scouted some places, like parks, parking under a bridge on a quiet street, etc.
Cons: kinda hard to prep for SN in the dark and in the car.

2). AirBnB
Pro: Easy to prep my CTB (SN). Will not have room service where they can accidentally find me and call emergency services.
Cons: nothing really, other than it cost money.

Hotel is my preference and car is my second choice

99 percent chance it will be hotel

If CTB in hotel it's better than Airbnb as you can pass the cost of cleanup onto the hotel which they're most likely insured for and the private Airbnb isn't. Also you get to dump the liability on a large corporate entity which is only fair after a lifetime of them dumping their liabilities onto you

The bill will be paid via your c.c. ... Considered an incidental by the Hotel, motel and Airbnb.

At the moment a forest or other area in nature. No risk of harming others or being found and nice scenery to be surrounded with. I can and will send someone instructions on where to find me.

Car would probably be preferable but I have no access to one, home also but I don't have the means to ctb at home.

I would go to a forested area that isn't in the middle of nowhere so my body is found quickly and then shoot myself. Something like a large park would be nice.

True , but it will be less of a hassle for hotel as they probably deal with this a lot more often

I would choose my home but this has been complicated by a roommate I did not ask for and just kinda happened after giving them a place to crash while they got their place set up to move back into. I made it clear multiple times that it was to be temporary but for some odd reason people always seem to disregard that every time I try to help someone with a temporary place to stay. You think I would have learned by now how this always works out. My OCD makes living with others a bit of a torture, but I don't want to tell them to GTFO as they have serious physical problems and have indicated a desire to CTB themselves.

I like the sound of dying in a forest far away from people, but I would choose to get euthanasia if that option was available for me. If I was to die sometime soon, my realistic location would probably be at home.

I'm going to make a reservation for 2 nights. Where I live in most of the hotels, housekeeping still doesn't clean the rooms everyday like they used to before covid. If you want your room cleaned, you have to call the front desk and tell them early in the morning, or else they skip cleaning your room for the day. To be safe, I am going to put the do not disturb sign on the door, and lock the dead bolt.

My preferred method is SN, and I live approximately 20 to 40 minutes from the closets wooded area, by foot, so I would walk to those woods, take some SN and await the end.

I would have actually preferred at home. Less stuff to prepare for, I'm in a setting I'm familiar with and comfortable in. Fall asleep and never wake up. But I live with family since I can't work due to chronic illness. I couldn't risk doing that to them, or being found too soon. It sucks.

I would have also liked somewhere in nature. Not being found, as if I just vanished, would be great for me in some ways. The lack of closure for my family would be really difficult though.

That's exactly how I plan it too. I don't have a car either, but I want it to be in the mountains. I can take a coach bus up north to where I want to go. And I really don't care that the wild life will eat me before I'm found. I eat them for survival, why not eat me? 😋

I've had my creamtion paid for since May 2017, they're just waiting for my body!

Interesting... I guess hotels and taking a step back from the previous requirement where they will go in even with a "Do not disturb" sign.

My friend unfortunately owns the flat I'm renting so I couldn't CTB at my flat for the respect of my friend. I've booked a hotel instead.

It's an overrated risk. If you took the N in the afternoon you'd be gone for sure

Most good hotels will not ignore the DND sign. Different hotels have different policies . Some hotels will for sure barge their way in after a few days

It might be an overrated risk but it's still a risk that crosses my mind. I wouldn't want to be caught half way through and saved, potentially suffering permanent damage.

I'm personally going to tell the receptionist that I'm going to be having a leisurely day the next day and to make sure the cleaners don't come in at all, whilst also having a DND sign outside the door.

I am really torn on this one.

1) the last time I was really happy, before getting sick was on a holiday in a foreign country. There is no better leaving the world with sound and view of the ocean, the place I have never been so happy. I would book myself the nicest Airbnb. View directly to the ocean. Maybe do some drugs the weeks before?!

What if traveling to 1) makes me change my mind? Being Ill my life will never be that nice and carefree again. Daily pain, not many friends left, living in poverty. 100% turn around. It would be an illusion of what me life could have been.

2) ending it in my apartment. I would have the chance to say goodbye to my loved ones. Leaving in my own bed. Also in my country I could file a document preventing any medical treatment extending my life. (In case anything goes wrong)

Would be nice to end life in a tropical locale. Many people CTB this way already

Drive to a condominium and rent the highest floor possible and jump.
Full suspension from a thick, strong tree in a forest where I'll never be found.
Or my nearby bridge where I can walk to its highest point and jump.

IMHO, it's still a risk. Prior to COVID, many hotels updated their policy on DND and they'll go inside even with the sign.

Things may changed now as someone said above.

In any case, I am worried I'll be found before I CTB and then it WILL be hellish for me. That's my only reservation with stating in hotel.
