  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

Got a perma ban and rude messages from mods of this sketchy sub for exhibiting suicidal ideation.

Screenshot 2021 07 09 at 14 00 38 messages inbox

This was my post if your interested:

"Have you considered suicide?

I got my plans ready, just waiting for the right moment.
Edit: Having done lots of research on this subject I feel the outlook - especially for low-profile victims is pretty bleak.
Usually I'm not as pessimistic, especially before this bullshit started happening to me, at least four years ago.
But:
  • The crazy amount of disinformation out there spread by mainstream media and many other outlets makes it almost impossible to get an accurate more objective perspective on this phenomenon for people not familiar with the true extent of disruption programs.
  • Why haven't whistle-blowers such as Assange (wikileaks) and Snowden leaked anything regarding modern day disruption programs?
  • There are too many useful idiots (informal operatives) that have no problem participating in destroying the lives of innocent civilians.
  • The wall of secrecy around this topic is too strong. I'm surprised how informal operatives including Dr's, family and friends can keep a straight face when telling me I'm "mentally ill" when I know that they know the truth.
  • They have caused irreversible psychological damage over last four years of terror. Even if the program stops I will never be able to trust anyone fully ever again and that's not even including ptsd and depression.
  • I can not take this case to court due to lack of evidence. Everything seems to be plausibly deniable and extremely difficult to prove.
  • Victims seem to be too few and kept apart, so an "uprising" or some form of a resistance appears to be impossible.
  • The best possible outcome (how I see it) is that once targets have been emotionally destroyed over years and they can prove it, we (they) may receive a $1000 in compensation, if at all, and live off a shitty pension while still suffering from the repercussions of the disruption program.
  • They used Zersetzung methods on my East-German father. The result isn't pretty. He lives a lonely, miserable existence with constant depression. He was never compensated for being a victim of previous Stasi-terror and lives off a shitty €650 pension with no friends nothing. I'm surprised he hasn't killed himself by now.. poor soul.
Realistically its not looking good and the situation seems to be hopeless. Unless you feel comfortable living a crappy socially isolated existence."

4chan has friendlier people than Reddit.

Reddit I'd argue is worse because people who go there are not per se expecting to be met with vitriol. Bullying is unexpectedly rampant on the platform.

Vast majority of the site is a far-left echo chamber. The owners of the site also identify as such and have implemented censorship rules to cater to these types of ideologies and to villify any opinion to the right of Mao, so it's no surprise that it is and has always been toxic. Just one of many examples of typical Bay Area tech weirdos spreading their sickness to the rest of the world and impressionable brainwashed young people marching along to it and enforcing it as self-designated thought and culture police.

I'm sorry you had this experience. Even in designated places like r/SuicideWatch, I've gotten rude or accusatory messages. Reddit has gotten worse over the years, it started out with promise but unfortunately has been infiltrated with people who can't handle a different point of view.

The only thing reddit had going for it was it cultivated small esoteric communities that you couldn't find anywhere else. But now that they are so ban happy it's basically unusable.

reddit comments seem so fake to me. I usually set it to sort by "controversial" and set Youtube comments to newest first. maybe I'm too used to unfiltered places like 4ch, but I prefer old internet -style real conversations.

I remember when it was called the "last bastion of free speech" circa 2012. Open discussion was what made it good, but nowadays it's on the same level as any other normie social media site.

Reddit moderators aren't exactly professionals at their jobs half the time; they are regular folks just like you and me. They are often less than qualified to effectively use their powers in goodwill and are often gravitated towards cultivating self-congratulatory hiveminds. It's a foolish attempt at maintaining a forum's cohesion because nothing new is being introduced and therefore nothing is really being learned at all. When a forum fails to educate and discourages diversity of ideas, the sanest course of action would be to abandon ship ngl. I think they may have indirectly done you a favour lol.

"Have you considered suicide?
Did you mean it as an open honest question like "have YOU considered this…"? If yes, ban was unfair.

If you meant rhetorically (as in "you should consider this!") then that's not unlike saying "kys" which is trolling, so ban justified. Maybe this is how it was taken by the mods, hence their reaction :[

They have the most fucked up subs...like ones with young females begging to be raped and guys responding grossly. I've been banned for being too violent, but I didn't say really bad shit. People can't accept different POVs.

I got myself outta there recently because it was distressing me to the point of non-fatal self-destruction... Now I have no faith whatsoever in life, humanity, my "friends", people I pay/paid to help me... I've never pushed the limit this far while "testing", and I have never been more ready than now. I stopped talking to everyone 6 weeks ago, my last resort being Reddit, and that just pushed me off the edge.

Some people there just have no compassion AT ALL.

This does not surprise me, I think that internet communities become toxic as they grow out of control.

Reddit is a pile of shit. People will try to offer obvious advice thinking somehow I never thought of it or it's a possibility. When I tell them they are not listening or that they are negating what the fuck I am saying they get really defensive and shitty. Super dysfunctional people. Trolls and anti-suicide. Horrible subs. Mods banning in chat for being prejudiced. They have the grossest subs but one can't be critical or negative on certain sites. It's obvious who is obsessed like it's their duty to help...when they are just being a trigger.

Safe people and perverts do well on it. Others not so much. At least not me.
