I hate dealing with inept customer service, which typically seems to be the norm for me! I'm in such bad pain today too that I was pretty apprehensive about having to contact a couple of companies about some recent purchases - doing two at the same time was surely going to be exhausting..?

Nope! :smiling:

One of the issues was with a faulty item; I messaged this first company on the off chance they could help me fix a little appliance I bought a couple weeks ago that just doesn't work. They're Chinese too so I was worried about translation issues... needn't have been. They were kind, competent and have finally offered to send me a new one for free!

The second company is basically dealing with a buttload of incompetencies from me lol I'd sized the bloody thing wrong, bumbled the return, then messed up the amendment details as well (I R IDIOT); not only did they clear up every little detail but they wouldn't even hear of me shit talking myself either and have gone out of their way to sort this thing out n remove the stress from my busy head...

BOTH these companies have been so absolutely amazing that m sitting here in actual happy tears that there are people out there who take real pride in, and are good at, what they do!

So impressed with the kindness and competency of these people that I'm almost floating around the house today lol faith in humanity currently restored!

I wish people knew and understood just how important this kind of thing is n wish it were the norm rather than it being so rare that it literally makes me cry when I encounter it :pfff:

Just thought I'd share that lil bit of positivity that lifted me so nicely today - love n good luck to you all as you go about your days, you lovely people :hug:

Wow! I'm glad you've had a nice experience with them!
Most of the times I have a problem with internet or whatever, the customers service is ridiculous!
However, there have been some exceptions!

Absolutely- my recent experience with customer service, excluding today, has been that bad that it provokes genuine anxiety at the thought of having to resolve a buying issue lol
I guess it makes the good ones shine all the brighter? But it doesn't detract away from the fact that it should be the norm rather than the exception!

If we can learn to be happy about things like these we can probably learn how to live. I think it's the small things rather than the big things which make life liveable.

Agreed...
Same as so many little things being off whack making us feel bad!
Little things aren't so little when there are loads of them lol

Same..... that's why I love buying from Amazon (UK). Their returns policy and web-chat is painless, just print-off the returns label and send back the faulty/unwanted item (with all the bits/packaging) via Hermes, and they give you a replacement/refund.

I can't speak for other sellers though.... that's why I only buy items marked as "dispatched from and sold by Amazon"

Hahaha i did get kind of nasty against an ugly assistance of a therapist, he said he'll try to book me an appointment, I said I work from 8 to 6pm
And then he says the therapist is available has a full agenda, I just stopped listening to his 40 second whatsapp audio responses, I don't like dealing with incongruency. :D
